Sirius
"You have a sister?!"
I nodded solemnly. Harry just stared at me amazed, his eyes widened in shock. There was some anger in the emerald green orbs as well, but I wasn't about to deal with his attitude. Sally was very precious to me, and I didn't just tell everyone about my little sister who ran off to America.
"Why am I just hearing about this now?" My godson demanded.
"She's dead."
"Oh..."
I shook my head at his lack of an answer. Sitting down in the nearest chair, I lay my head in my palms trying to keep the tears in. It's been years since I saw her. Once she left for America, she never came back.
First news I've heard of her since she left was the government telling me to let my nephew stay with me until he was 18. Thankfully, Harry cleared my name in time and Peter was locked away, but knowing him, he'll find some way out.
"Harry, I want you to clean the guest room." I suddenly said, scaring the boy.
"Why?" He asked timidly.
"Sally's son will be joining us for awhile." I replied softly.
I looked down, I missed so much of her life. I can't believe I let her get away from me. I promised myself that I would do her proud and take care of her son to the best of my ability.
"What's his name, Sirius? Do you think we'll get along? Is he a wizard too?" Harry started loading me with questions, but I couldn't think clearly.
"Perseus Jackson, and to the rest of your questions, we'll have to wait and see..."
Tell me what you think...
