Chapter 1- The Fire from Within

"Isabella come down now its your first day of school, are you at least dressed?" said my mother "maybe....yes" okay then lets get going you can't be late on my watch young Lady " at this point I was about ready to throw a book to the floor to let out my rage but just in time my dog came in (Butterscotch) "Who's a good boy?".

"Alright mom coming down , I will just eat my breakfast at school" " sounds great" I got in the car and we drove off. Everything was totally fine until we got there and I finally realized I had to leave the safety of my seat, but on the bright side my friends were there Allison and Jackie so it was all good.

"Hey Izzie what's up" said Jackie  "not much to be honest" I said "what about you Allison?" she said "same".

Then it had happened a BOOOM!!! we all got hit where were my friends " oh my gosh" it was painful it felt like lava or fire was living in me it burned just then.... Out of the mist or smoke came a boy who had brown hair and hazelnut eyes who was he, was I in heaven. "Hey are you okay I'm Alex". To late I had woken up I'm a room with all of my friends and Alex was up making tea and suddenly said "I know what you are a going through... Metamorphosis its a process where you all gain different well...powers" out of no where Jackie said "you think we are simply going to believe you all we know is the you are a kidnapper" then Allison said "yeah pretty much,explain yourself "then he said "don't make a fuss I was sent here to help you".

"Why is it that I have a burning sensation like fire?" I said and Alex replied "you gained fire powers from the blast" " no way", and he said " you Jackie have levitation and as for you Allison you have lightning powers, pretty cool right??" then all or a sudden I heard a strange noise coming from outside like....I can't  explain. Then Alex said "time to go" and Jackie said "why what's wrong??" Alex mumbled "Isabella they are coming for you" then he screamed louder "RUN!!!!" but by then it had been to late I got hit in the stomach by one kind of orange glowing shard. I woke up to hear Alex talking to someone who seemed to look like a doctor just then I was able to hear the mumbling "they are coming back for us she is the one I am telling you" then then the doctor said" hey she is waking up" I wonder what they meant she is the one then Alex said "Feeling better" and I said "sure I just got hit by an orange knife to the stomach...I feel great"  he said "well at least you still have a sense of humor!! Anyway this is doctor Raul she is the one who has healed you, but for the pain she can only give you medication and don't worry she knows that you have well special abilities she is the villages nurse" and I said " where are my friends,tell me" and he said "they are outside waiting for you" and I started to panic "my mom is going to be so worried she will kill me I need to get out of here right now!!!". Now so urgently I had to leave I went outside but I couldn't Alex was holding me back he told me that here in the village time stopped on the rest of the earth so I believed him only because I knew if I had went back me mother would kill me.

I was happy that when I left the hospital or whatever it was I saw Jackie and Allison and I was very relived we gave each other hugs Alex told us that there was a little cottage down on feather avenue and that's when I realized that we weren't in Hamilton anymore. So he said "you guys can bunk in here meanwhile until we can work something else out" we all said okay so we stepped in and it was so musty with dust flying around it was as if it had been there for decades and Jackie suddenly said "this is the best hotel service ever" and we all giggled since it was 8:56 we decided to go to bed because we knew that tomorrow we would need all the rest. While they were all asleep I went to find Alex and I found him preparing his bed on the couch.

I went over and said "thanks for helping me back there" kind of blushing then he said "no problem Isabella" then I asked "what did you mean she is the one" he said "the what?!" And I said "when you were talking to doctor Raul you stated I was the one what does that mean?" And he kind of stumbled to find words and said "well your powers came from a rock used a very long time ago and only the worthy could touch it for it possessed all the power you could ever need, and your father was the one who tried to protect the rock from spreading it's powers to the others but when he passed away the rock was being hunted by a group called the Raven's and they have been trying to consume it's powers because they were the power was so great,luckily your friends are safe but now the Raven's are going to  hunt you and try to drain you of your powers". It took me time to actually grasp what he was saying.

I couldn't believe what he was telling me " you cannot be serious, you must be talking about somebody else" he said "nope its you" so I went back to my bedroom to cry I was lied to my father was killed by the Raven's  they told me he had died in a crash and could not be seen  because his body was to wounded but the truth was that they didn't have the body because they couldn't find the body because it wasn't there. I have been living in a fake world "oh my gosh". Nobody dared to even tell me not even my mother told me!!
