~Eren's POV~

It's been a couple days since Levi relapsed and he hardly wakes up due to the drugs in his system. The doctors are trying to ween him off of them but his body is unable to live on its own. I heard a grunt and groan come from Levi and looked up, watching as he opened his eyes.

"E-Eren?" He whispers. My heart panged painfully in my chest to hear and see him this weak.

"Yes baby, I'm here." A weak smile spread across his face.

"H-help m-me sit up p-please." He whispers, his voice softer than normal.

"Of course baby." I say tenderly, helping him to sit up. He let out a soft sigh and rubbed his rounded stomach.

"H-how l-long?" He asks, not taking his dulled silver eyes off of his stomach.

'Wh-what do you mean baby?" I ask, dumbfounded.

"H-how long d-did the d-doctors s-say I have left?" asks Levi, his gaze shifting up to me. I looked down at the floor, biting back my tears.

"T-two m-months... maybe less." I say, my voice cracking. Levi nods.

"M'kay." He breathes out, going back to soothing the children inside of him.

"That's all?" I whisper, anger growing inside of me.

"What d-do you mean?" Levi asks. It's his turn to be dumbfounded.

"You ask how long you have left to live and all you have to say about it is 'm'kay'?! Levi, what the hell?! You're carrying three children! Don't their futures matter to you?! Don't you want them to have a mother?! How the hell can you be so calm about this?!" I scream. Levi's heartrate spikes as he looks at me in fear, tears forming in those perfect silver orbs.

"L-Levs..." I whisper, reaching out to him. He flinches away, sniffling. His heart was racing and I could tell by the way his shoulders were shaking, he was holding back a cough.

"H-how you ask..." He whispers. "It's simple... I've accepted my f-fate." He paused, coughing harshly.

"Since I was young, I kn-knew I was going to d-die." More coughs shook his frail frame.

"A-and yes I do w-want the b-babies t-to have a m-mother." Blood spatters the sheets in front of him.

"But... i-if m-my time c-comes b-before then... I-I know th-they're in............ good.... ha---nds." He chokes out, coughing up a large amount of blood. I panicked and called for doctors, grabbing Levi's hand in mine.

"Levi, I'm s-so sorry I-I snapped like that p-please d-don't leave m-me! Please! Y-you're the best thing t-to ever happen to me! Don't l-leave me now! PLEASE LEVI!" I scream, my hands trembling violently while I reached into my pocket.

"Levi, p-please... don't leave me... st-stay by m-my side f-forever.... and m-marry me." I whisper, opening the ring box. A peaceful look took over Levi's face.

"Y------------yes." He croaks out, then falling unconscious, his heart monitor slowing down.

"NO LEVI PLEASE DON'T FUCKING LEAVE ME! PLEASE!" I scream, gripping his hand as I cried. Doctors pulled me out of the room and to the waiting room where a nurse tried to console me. I shook.

'It's my fault... it's my fault Levi's going to die before his time. It's all my fucking fault.' I think, getting up and storming out of the hospital. I stormed to my car and got in, crying violently. Lightning flashed, followed by a clap of thunder. I only cried harder, knowing Levi loved thunder storms, as they brought him peace. The sound of the rain, the beautiful way that the lightning strikes across the sky, the sudden clap of thunder that keeps you on your toes. Everything. Levi loved- no, loves- it.

It has now been two months since my outburst and I couldn't bring myself to go back to Levi's room. I recieved many messages from Hanji and Armin, telling me about him but I ignored them. It's my fault he's worse than before. And it's my fault his life may have been shortened.

Dinng- Donng

I turn towards the door, my eyes emotionless as I stood, opening it. Behind the door was Armin, who was holding a laptop. I let him in and shut the door.

"Why're you here?" I ask quietly.

"Levi's awake y'know. He's actually been doing better for the past few weeks." Armin explains as he sets up the laptop. I lean against a wall, my arms crossed over my chest.

"You never answered my question." The blond coconut only shrugged off my words, clicking on a few things before I heard a familiar, beautiful voice fill my ears.

"E-Eren... are you there?" asks Levi. My head snaps up and I glare at Armin who only smiles, turning the laptop to face me. I saw Levi's glowing face and couldn't help but let a small smile form on my lips as I walked forward.

"Y-yeah Levs... I'm here baby." I whisper, touching the screen as if I could feel his soft skin through it. He smiles shakily. I hear the sound of skin against fabric and let out a sob.

"H-how're the babies?" I ask softly.

"Very healthy actually... though they are kicking up a storm." Levi says fondly, looking down at his stomach. He then looked back up t the webcam.

"I miss you Eren. I don't blame you for what happened two months ago... please... come back." He whispers, tears shining and threatening to fall from his eyes.

"I-I'll visit today. I-I promise baby." I whisper, wiping a tear from my cheek. He nods.

"And Eren?"

"Hmm baby?"

"Eat something please. You look ghastly." I chuckle.

"Yes mother." I whisper teasingly, blowing a kiss to Levi before he hung up the call. I then fell to my knees and sobbed. Armin walked around the coffee table and hugged me.

"It's okay Eren. You're lucky to have Levi. He's good for you." Armin whispers. I only nodded, sobbing into Armin's baby blue shirt. He rubbed my back and helped me calm down.

"Let's get you fed."

I stopped just outside Levi's room, holding a bouquet of Levi's favorite flowers, white roses mixed with purple hycinths. (A/N I think I got that right)

Armin nodded to me, giving me the courage to open the door. I looked at Levi's resting figure, seeing his pale face and slightly messy hair from sleeping. I set the flowers and chocolates on the table next to his bed and took my spot in the chair next to his bed, brushing a few stray locks of raven hair out of his face. His eyes fluttered open and when he saw me, a huge smile spread across his face.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion as he bolted up carefully to wrap his arms around my neck and I hugged him back, careful of his delicate body. We stayed in that embrace for what seemed like an eternity before he pulled back, his light hearted smile asking for my help to sit up. I chuckled and helped him up, kissing his cheek.

"I g-got you some st-stuff..."

"Again?" He teases, his silver eyes holding a playful glint. I chuckle and kiss his nose.

"Yeah... again."
