♡ Chapter 1 ♡
"But why do I have to go with you to meet the new neighbors ma?" I asked looking at her with pleading eyes for her to not make me go.
My mother only laughed, finishing as she wrapped the home made pasta. My father was just reading his usual newspaper as he sat on the table not even paying attention to our conversation.
"Because dear, they have a daughter about your age! Maybe you guys can be friends?" My mother said with a sweet smile. I sighed, giving up on convincing my mom to not make me go.
"Alright fine.." I said knowing I might regret this.
"Good! Now let's go you guys, and who knows, maybe me and her mother might be friends ourselves!" My mom said with pure joy.
I groaned at how happy she was. Honestly, they was really no need to be happy about a couple of new human neighbors. My mother was very cheerful and always looked at the positive side, my father didn't like showing emotions besides his affection towards my mom but he loved keeping her happy. While I...I hated the world and everyone, I never saw any bright nor positive side to anything. I didn't even see any side to anything in life.
I had depression yes, but it didn't feel like it affected me. All it did was give me barely any emotions or feelings, I didn't even think about anything in life, I only liked calm music or cool beats, I hated hanging out with friends out of school, I liked keeping things to myself, and I barely even knew what happiness was anymore.
"Alright son, let's go your mother's waiting for us." My dad said setting his newspaper down as he exited the kitchen. I sighed, walking out the kitchen and followed my parents to the neighbors house.
I frowned as we waited outside there door. My mom rang the doorbell. I raised a brow as I heard some noise coming from behind the door like if someone was moving something.
"Mom just let me open the door!" "No way you opened it last time!" We heard from the other side of the door.
We all gave each other the 'ummm-okay-' look. Only a few seconds passed and the door was opened by two girls who had messy black hair, paint on there clothes and they looked exactly the same except the taller one had a pixie hair cut.
"Ah hello!" The one with the pixie hair said. "Hello! We came to introduce ourselves since ya know, we're neighbors and all." My mom said with her sweet smile.
"Momma look she brong pasta!" The shorter girl with long black hair said practically drolling as she saw my mom's pasta. "Calm yourself Izzy!" Her mom, I'm guessing, said pulling her back by her shoulder.
My mom and dad both laughed as I just staired at everyone.
"Anyways, please come in, come in." Her mom said opening the door wider as they both got out the way. My mom smiled, nodding her head as she walked in first, then my dad. And then me.
"Oohh! I see you guys have a kid of your own." Izzy's mom said with a smile. "Yes his name is Zack." My father said.
"Hi I'm Izzy!" Izzy said smiling as she waved. I almost got a heart attack as she randomly said that just being a few inches away from my face. God she was so close!
( this is Izzy :P )
