Prologue

"Ladies and gentlemen may I have your attention please" The announcement was made to gather everyone's attention. I turned towards the stage where Niti was standing ,holding the mike.

"Today is gonna be a special day in my bhai's life "she said exicted and paused which made me us all eager.

"Because today he is gonna get engaged to my best friend Maya"She completed and the whole crowd started to applaud.

While I stood there numb trying to process what she announced. I felt my breathing got struck in my lungs. I lowered my eyes to hide my tears that started to brim up in my eyes.

"Bhai and Maya may I have you on stage"she called and soon both moved towards the stage holding their hands.

"He is looking happy.." I managed to smile but a sharp pain hit my heart as he is gonna become someone else husband.

Niti gave them the rings for them to exchange while the whole crowd cheered. He moved forward towards her.

"I can't see him going far from me.." I whispered as I felt suffocating making me difficult to breath. I turned to go from this place but my knees felt weak and the whole surrounding blurred .

"Please god take my life.."I fell down on the ground and darkness consumes around me.
