"With that, I conclude that wolves are amazing and majestic! From their harmonic howls to their incredible strength, that is why I think wolves are the best animal in the world."

No one clapped for my essay presentation. In fact, they just all laughed at me, like a pack of hyenas. Heck, even the teacher seems like she would die from her fit of giggles!

I felt myself tear up a little as the bell rang, signaling that it was time to leave school. I gathered my supplies and report on wolves and walked out of the classroom, with some shoves and cruel nicknames my peers had come up with.

~Time skip~

I walked out the front door, but that turned out to be a huge mistake.

"Wolf Girl!"
"Dog F***er!"
"Bark bark, little b****."

Even some mocking howls were done. This whole school hates wolves. They all seem to like rodents instead of the predators of the world.

"Why don't you go die? It would be better without b****es like you in the world anyway!"

I just walked off, keeping my anger at bay. I had learned that lashing out on people only got me hurt anyway, but that is a long story.

I got home, greeting a cheerful father and mother at home.

"Hey sweetie! How was school?" My mom chirped.

Now, when you are around happy people like them, it's hard not to smile, even if it is fake.

"It went good, mum."

"Glad to hear it, sugar! I had made cookies for you earlier, so go ahead and chow down if you want." She went back to whatever she was working on.

I grabbed a cookie and a cup of milk (or if you are lactose intolerant, your favorite snack and drink) and walked into my room.

I looked through my scrapbook, full of memories back before the Monster war started and spotted my bestie since I was 5. He was the best... but he had perished in the war, or so I was told. I think his name was Monster Kid, but I called him MK. (In the media, I drew him because I could not find a picture of the little dino as a wolf)

I wiped a tear away at the memories of him and put the book away, an idea rushing through my mind.

I packed my (Favorite color) flashlight, some G from before the war that my parents kept, a couple bottled waters, a sketchbook, 10 pencils, and 2 pencil sharpeners.

I was going to climb the mountain to which no body ever came back.
