details: guest shows up at your house drunk.

you turned the lamp off leaving you in darkness except the light coming from the foyer. you looked down at your phone seeing it was half past midnight and you got a little carried away reading macbeth.

you picked up your empty bowl that had blue moon ice cream and you walked into the kitchen setting it into the sink. you're about to go upstairs but you hear your name being faintly called followed by knocks on the front door. you wonder who could be at your door as your walking through the lighted area.

you immediately regret not just going up stairs as soon as you saw the unexpected guest leaning against the double glass doors. you looked down at your feet while opening one of the double doors.

"y/n," your heart sank as you heard his slurred words.

"come on," you said opening the door wider, a silent way of telling him to come in, he stumbled a little but you caught him. he looked at you with a goofy smile and you shook your head. you pushed the front door shut locking it then flicked the lights off in the foyer.

simon managed to make his way upstairs to your room and curl up in your bed. you shake your head as you walked into your closet grabbing some of his clothes that he had left over the night before.

"si," you cooed pulling off his shoes. no response. you sighed as you tugged at the end of his joggers until they came off and you did the same with his shirt. you put him in clean clothes then threw his dirty ones in the hamper.

you looked down at simon as he slept and you couldn't help but to smile. you tucked him in before climbing into bed beside him picking macbeth back up were you had left off.

after an hour and a half you figured you had read enough for the night and set your favorite book on your nightstand and looked back at simon. he was curled up against your chest snoring softly. you leaned over kissing his forehead before reaching over turning off the night stand light.

"i love you," you whispered before falling asleep.
