Aloha guys, I know I'm mean for not updating in a while, I'm sorry. Anyway I hope you enjoy this chapter and have a great spring break.

Your POV
        I was strolling along the beach, a cloak covering my figure and face from the citizens of my kingdom.  I am a princess, well the sister of prince Eric.  He's my older brother and he's SUPER protective.  I don't understand, I'm not that frail little girl I once was, I'm 16 (sorry if that's not your age, it's not mine either, it's just for the story) I can take care of myself. But he just doesn't understand. He left a few months ago with his wife Ariel. Yes, I'm aware that Ariel was a mermaid, yes, I was astonished when he told me. But ever since he left the guards are so overprotective, it's like I don't have any freedom. Anyway I was walking down near the shore, slippers in my hands, as my feet touched the wet sand.  I smiled softly, the beach was the place that really made me happy, it made it seem like all my worries were gone.  I looked up and noticed something green and shiny. It looked like a fish tail? But a really big one at that.  One thought ran through my mind, 'is it alright?'  I started to sprint towards it, when I arrived I saw a MARMAN!!!! And he was stuck in a fishing net.  "Oh my gosh, this is very bad." I said as I began working on getting the merman out of the net. I stated to try to tear it apart, but it wouldn't budge, I gave up on that idea and looked around for something sharp while tapping my chin. I looked to my right to see a sharp, jagged, piece of rock. 'That'll do the trick' I thought as my face lit up.  I quickly reached over and grabbed it, I looked back at the net and started fiddling around for a loose spot.  I found one and started cutting away, but what I didn't notice was that the merman woke up. 

Aaron POV
           I woke up with a major headache, and I could feel sand beneath me, and the sun beating down on me, as the water crashed against my tail fin.  Wait... IM OUT OF WATER.  I slowly opened my eyes, only to be met with the blinding sun.  I quickly shut them and reopened them, as I sat up.  I looked at my tail only to see a girl near my tail.  I took a closer look and noticed that I was stuck in a fishing net, and she was cutting it.  I gasped at the sight, and I guess she heard me.

Your POV
I heard a gasp come from the merman's mouth. I was startled so I accidentally dropped the rock and jerked my head to look at him.  My e/c eyes met his sea blue eyes, we stared into each other's eyes as we slowly got lost in them.  I then remembered the situation he was in, "oh my gosh!!! Are you ok?!" I asked as I picked up the price of rock and started to try to cut off the net.  "Y-yeah I'm fine, I just need to get this net off before I lose circulation," he said, I hummed in response and continued to try to cut this net off. I finally cut the net and started to untangle it from his tail, it wasn't until I removed and looked up at him when I noticed he was staring the entire time. I blushed and tried avoiding eye contact, "u-um the net is off," I said gesturing to his tail and net. When I said that he finally snapped out of his gaze, "O-oh thank you so much, your so kind, I never thought I'd meet a human after my best-friend was married to one," he said as he looked at me in awe. "Who did your best friend marry?" I asked, "oh she married this guy named prince Eric," he said matter-if-factly. I gasped, "PRINCE ERIC IS MY BROTHER!! " I said. "R-really?" He asked, I nodded my head and stuck out my hand, "my name is y/n, princess y/n, I'm Eric's little sister" I said as he shook my hand, "my name is Aaron, best friend of Ariel," I smiled at him until I heard guards calling my name. I groaned, why... just why. I looked at Aaron, "I'm sorry, but I mist go now before I get into even more trouble." I said as I helped him get in the water. "Will I see you again?" He asked, "yup, I'm pretty sure I'll see you again," I smiled at him as he smiled back with a pink tint to his cheeks. After that day me and Aaron have been meeting in that beach, talking, and laughing for 2 years. This time, though, is not a happy time on the beach, I must tell Aaron some very bad news, I have become of the age of marriage, and I really don't want to marry a snobby prince of some far away kingdom. You see, after these years I have developed a big crush on the merman, but I doubt he likes me back, I mean I'm human, and he's a merman. It wouldn't work out, and I'm sure there are plenty of mermaids down there that he has probably fallen in love with. Anyway my father has decided that he wanted me to find a husband, he used to be so protective and now I think he's finally letting me grow up, just not the way I want to.  I sighed sadly as I walked along the beach, tear staines visible on my face from crying so much, I never wanted this, I wanted a free life not a forced life.  I sniffled occasionally, as a single tear left my eye and fell into the wet sand, I watched it fall and land softly.  A small crab scurried by with a beautiful shell necklace in its claws, I smiled softly at it as it stopped in front of me.  I kneeled down and looked at it, it dropped the necklace in the ground and scurried away, I watched it for a little bit until I picked up the necklace.  If had a big beautiful f/c shell in the middle, and gorgeous pearls and other small shells decorated along the necklace.  I looked at it in awe, and placed it around my neck.  I rubbed the f/c shell and looked up to see Aaron sitting there staring at me, I sadly smiled at him as he motioned for me to come over.  I moved towards him and sat myself down next to him, turning my face away so he wouldn't see my tear stained face.  He put a finger under my chin and turned my face towards his.  He looked at me sadly, "now, why were you crying?" He asked as he wiped away tears that were slowly starting to fall.  "m-my father s-said I have to m-marry a p-prince, b-because I am now of m-marrying a-age." I said as I stuttered and sniffled form crying.  He looked at me in sympathy and then what looked like jealousy and/or anger.   He cupped my cheeks and hugged me, "wait here, I'll be right back," he said and dove into the water.  I waited a couple of minutes, with my had resting on my knees. I didn't look up until I heard splashing and footsteps coming my way. I looked up to see king triton himself and Arron, but with legs and dashing suit. I stared, mouth agape, in not sure which one I was more surprised at, Arron with legs looking extremely ho- woah y/n, stop, or king Triton before me. Aaron came up to me and I noticed he had a shell necklace similar to mine but his middle shell was a sea green color.  "A-Aaron you have l-legs," I said still surprised.  "Yes I do, y/n, there's something I've been meaning to tell you." He said, I nodded motioning for him to continue.  He took a deep breath, "ever since I met you, I've liked you, a lot,  it wasn't until now that I noticed I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He said as grabbed my hands.  I grinned and hugged him, "I really love you too Aaron," I said.  He pulled away from hug, "these shell necklaces we are wearing can allow us to transform from human to mermaid/merman, whenever we want.  I gasped and squealed, "oh my gosh, thank you Arron, king triton," I said as I hugged both of them.  " it's not problem, I just know that you two will love each other," he said as he released me from the hug.  I blushed and returned to Aaron as he grabbed me by the hand, "how do you think your father still react?" He said, "it doesn't matter as long as I'm with you," I responded.  He cupped my fave with his hands and leaned in, sparks went flying as our lips connected, he moved one hand from my face and held me by the waist, as I had my hands against his chest.  He just made my life a lot better, and I love him. 

GAH!!!! Oh my gosh, I dud it's!!! Yay!!!! Guys I am so sorry for not updating in a while, I was caught up.  But just so you know a big shout out to prinrosevalintin , Mrs_Sangster7nstuff , and SwedishColombian , a big mahalo to these three people out there and to everyone who read this, mahalo and love the support, aloha until next time my  island family.

Ok I know that this chapter doesn't make sense, what. So. Ever, but can everyone do me a favor and pretend that it does. I did this at like midnight and my brain was probably dead.  I might fix it tho... so yup. 

Does that make sense? I'm not sure, I hope it does, though it's very crappy.  Meh.  I just re-read it and realized how crappy, cringe, and cheesy it is.  The new chapter is going to be better.
