21. Back To Square One

   I stare at the ceiling in my cozy room. So many things were running through my mind, like my biological parents and my little siblings who had littlest time here on earth. I'm thinking about the fire that took place all those years ago. My time as an orphan, when I saw my first visitors who said the rudest comments as other visitors came by, then my foster parents who only stared at me with bright smiles. Memories of when I first held Toby, the joy in my eyes that I used to have with my parents before they died. My life was at it's highest point, and now my foster parents die. I'm back to square one where everything went downhill. 

   I let free tears stream down my face. I don't mind anymore, I just want to be alone- but I know that can't happen because I need to be strong for Toby. Though I just want to give up like in the beginning. My door slowly opens and my Aunt comes walking in wearing a pretty black dress. I notice she wore makeup to cover her red eyes and the dark circles around her eyes.

" Honey, time to get ready you friends are waiting downstairs for you." I nodded and continued staring at my ceiling.

" I'll bring the girls in." I slowly nodded, to be honest I didn't really want my friends to see me with how I am, but I didn't find my voice to tell her it was okay. A few seconds later she left my room, I look turn my head to the side as more tears flowed down, I really disliked seeing my Aunt in pain, I can't help but get emotional. Soon the door opens and I don't have to turn to see who it is.

" Isabel.." Tally trails off, I turn around to meet their shocked and sad eyes. They were super close with my foster parents, but since my mom started working longer hours they drifted a little from her.

" You look like shit." Lilly says bluntly, I couldn't help but smile and laugh a little, making her smile a bit with watery eyes. Tally slaps her back glaring at her.

" She's still beautiful." I smiled with teary eyes.

" Come on girl, lets get you sparkly." I slowly got up from my bed.

" I miss them so much." I started crying again. They both hugged me and started crying with me.

" I'm glad I wore waterproof mascara." I started giggling, only Lilly would say that at a time like this.

" What dress should you wear?" Tally ran into my closet and picked out a fitted black dress, then a long heart necklace with the word Family in it, with some black shinny heels, too tall if you ask me, but i'll be 5'5 for today. Lilly gave a huge thumbs up towards Tally who grinned like a man woman.

" Tally you look hilarious smiling." I laughed. Tally frowned making Lilly bark out laughing.

" No time for frowning, come on Isabel makeup and hair time!" I smiled, though I hated putting on makeup, I rather just go with the natural look. Fifteen minutes and forty-two seconds later i'm done and I put my heels on and start walking downstairs without a care in the world if I fall. To my luck I do, and I somehow drag the girls down with me. 

" Get off me! Your ruining my dress Tally." Lilly shrieks out, flopping her hands everywhere.

" Sorry.." Tally trails off as I groan.

"It would be really nice if you both get off me right now because it's getting really hard to breath with two fat people on me." Lilly gasps.

" Did you just call me fat?! Tally did you hear that?"

"Lilly i'm right next to her, of course i heard her, now get off me." Tally grumbles now annoyed with Lilly.

" Girls up you go before you flash the boys! They're coming up!" My Aunt comes running in gesturing for us to get up. Without a second Tally and Lilly get up grabbing me also right when the boys walk in. I'm fiddling with my fingers and looking around the room not making eye contact. Lilly has her small purse behind her back along with her hands putting on a fake smile, Tally crosses her legs holding her fingers crossed showing the boys.

" I gotta go pee!" She yells and starts running to the nearest restrooms.

"Me too i'm on my period." Lilly says and walks away, I just fix my glasses and look up and the boys fighting back a smile.

" I'm not even gonna say anything, go ahead and laugh." I rolled my eyes as Ryan,Luca, and Roy start laughing their bottoms off as Toby walks down and starts crying. I run and go hug him.

" What's wrong buddy?" I pick him up and place him on my hip, I don't mind how tiny I might look my priority is Toby at the moment.

" I miss mommy and daddy." At this point all the boys have quieted down, I walk into the Kitchen and place him down on the tall chair by the counter.

" Look buddy, I miss them too just as much as you, but Mommy and daddy are looking after you, they can be standing right next to you right now smiling. Now what would mommy say if she saw you frowning?" he smiled making me smile.

" To slip that frown up-slight-down." He started giggling.

" That's right buddy, what would daddy say?"

"To stop being a girl and be a man." I looked taken back.

" W-What? He said that, well I hope mommy's watching, daddy's getting a slap from mommy. Girls aren't weak buddy remember that, their just more caring than others and the man like you gotta be strong and tuff to comfort them. Right bud?" He nodded. 

" Izzy, I broke up with Jennie." I frowned.

" What happened?"

" She stopped saying hi to me." The boys started laughing once again making me glare at them.

" I love this kid." I heard Lucas say.

" Hey bud you want to tackle the boys?" He smiled and nodded.

" Let's grab some pillows." I went to the cabinet where we keep extra blankets and pillows for our guests, I grabbed one and handed one to Toby. With that we started slapping the boys with them. I got Roy as Toby got Lucas and Ryan just looked at his phone not giving a care that his friends are being slapped with pillows which made me laugh more.

" Seeds- ow, stop hurting me- abuse! Ow- Auntie! Your-Ow!- Niece is being-Ow!- rude!" My Aunt came running in and started laughing once she say the boys.

" A little fun for them doesn't hurt now does it?" He frowns.

" But.." I dropped the pillow.

" Are we late?" I'm talking about the funerals if your asking by the way.

" In five minutes yes."

"Crabcake! Lets go!" I banged on the restroom door telling Lilly and Tally to hurry up they rush out tripping over their own two feet like me.

" Sorry" I said to Roy since Lilly tripped me, making me hit Roys back hard.

" I knew you couldn't resist me." I lifted up my glasses.

"Where in the world did you get to that conclusion? Lilly tripped me on purpose- wait why am I saying this?"

" Oh, don't worry Seeds, if you trip, i'll catch you."

" Thanks."

" Half the times." I glare at him.

" No thanks." He only smirked making me smile getting into thesis car. Everyone decided to go in twos, Lilly and Lucas went in Lilly's car ( since she demanded ) Tally went with Ryan in Ryan's car, and my Aunt went with Toby ( obviously in her car ) and then theirs Roy and I in his car.

I know theirs grammar and spelling mistakes, I promise I will fix them when I finish writing this book.
