The engine of my '97 Ford Mustang revved as the car next to me pulled up to the starting line. I looked over to my opponent, Spiker, and gave him a crazed grin. The bikini clad flag holder stood in front of us. As the crowd cheered, she brought the flags down in one quick, fluid motion, my cue to win. As I slammed down on the peddle, the front of my Rear Wheel Drive car started to rise. I shot from 0 to 60 in under 10 seconds due to some innovative engineering. Once the front of my car lowered to the ground, I looked over at Spiker, who was just a tad behind me. As we battled for the lead, I flipped up a hatch on my dash board. I pressed the glowing neon button that read NITRO. Blue flames shot out of my exhaust pipe as I shot to 140 mph. I turned just in time to see the look of anger that spread across Spiker's face. I laughed as I skidded across the finish line. The crowd was cheering, "WHEELY WHEELY WHEELY WHEELY!" I bowed as Spiker hopped out of his car, chucking his keys at me. "Thank you good sir," I grinned as he stormed off with his posse. "Ay! Grea' game mate!" I turned to see my best friend, Issac pushing his way through the crowd.
"I'd recognize that thick accent anywhere! How's my favorite Australian doin'?" I grinned.
"Aw ya know, just chillin with tha' greatest drag raca this city's seen in a while. Anyway, need some help with those cars ova there Chase?"
"I'd only trust you to help me," I said as we walked toward my cars.
"So which one are you gonna sell?" He asked as he hopped in my new '75 Chevrolet Camaro.
"Well I was thinkin about that. And I realized, you don't have a car so-"
"NO WAY MATE!" He yelled excitedly.
"Yeah," I chuckled. "I thought that maybe you could have the Camaro, if that's cool with you."
"Mate, any car is cool with me if ya givin it to meh for free! I love ya mate!" He jumped out of the car and gave me a hug that only an Australian could give.
