Find my Way

CHAPTER 1

It was a couple days before what happened. Joelle was in the living room with her mom Laura. her little brother, Jasper was in his room sleeping and Cottontail Joelle's rabbit was hopping around the downstairs where Joelle and her mother were. they were watching American Idol when a news report came on. It's said "there is a lady that robbed two banks, a liquor store, a gas station, and was on the move. police tried to catch her but she shot at them. Here is a picture of her. if you see her calm the police and be very careful she is armed and dangerous."

When they pulled up a picture of that robber it showed a picture that looked a lot like mom. She immediately turned to me and said it wasn't her. I believed her and kept watching American Idol. The next day I woke up and let Cottontail out of his cage and went to check on Jasper. He was still asleep so I left him and shimmied down the stairs. When I got half way down the stairs, the doorbell rang. Mom went to answer it and wen she opened it there were police standing at the door. they said to mom " your under arrest please give me any weapons you have and any children."

Mom walked out the door saying she had no children. One police man said go check the house and when I heard that, I ran back upstairs, ran into my moms room, got all the money I could find in 10 seconds(which was like $5,000) and ran into my room to grab Cottontail. I put Cottontail in a to go cage and grabbed a backpack of clothes. I was about to run and remembered Jasper. I ran into Jasper's room and grabbed everything I could fit into another backpack. I picked up Jasper and ran for the stairs. I got by quick and silent and ran into the backyard where the RV was.

I opened the door threw everything in and left. I drove myself and my brother an rabbit out of the backyard faster than ever. I parked at a nearby RV stop and went to get food. I had then realized my mom was in jail for something she didn't commit and my dad was in Iraq fighting in the war. I had no idea when he was going to be home so I went on a map in the RV and tried to find any jails near our house.

The only problem was the nearest jail was 45 miles away! How was I supposed to find my mom?! I don't know where my mom is and I don't know how much money it will take to bail her out. I found six jails within 100 miles. But I need to feed my brother an rabbit before I get anything else done.

I went into the fridge to find some food but to my eyes, I forgot to grab food for us. I turned the RV around and drove back to the neighborhood I live in. But when I got to my house, it was burned down. That's right the police officers burned down my house.

I say in front of the house in shock and disappointment for about 10 minutes. Now how am I supposed to feed Jasper, Cottontail, and my self now? I went into the rubble of the house to see what I could find. Buried in the rubble I found my dads pistol and my now and arrow. On the top of all the rubble, I found 5 knives and my moms bullets. I picked it all up and went to hunt for breakfast.

I went on a farm and asked a farmer if I could have a pot, pan, an some eggs. The farmer was very nice an gave me what I needed. I walked back to the RV where Jasper and Cottontail were and went back to the camp sight. After I pulled into a spot, I locked the door and went and made some eggs. I made three for me two for Jasper and one egg for Cottontail.

As we all ate our eggs, I opened the door and locked the screen door because I didn't want Cottontail to get out or Jasper to walk away without me knowing.

CHAPTER 2

After breakfast I went out to my room in the RV and grabbed the pistol and bullets I found in the house rubble. I went into the forest behind the camp ground and went to find some lunch and dinner. I was walking for about two hours when I finally found a deer. I didn't want to kill the deer but it was the only way I could eat any dinner. I aimed and shot. BAM! I hit it in the neck perfect. I went and skinned it and cut it into pieces. I went back to the RV an put it all in freezer bags in the fridge. That should keep us full for a good two weeks.

After I got back I put Jasper in the crib in his RV room and had him take a nap. Cottontail and I went into the tiny living room. He laid next to me and slept and I looked around the RV trying to figure out what to use to find my mom. I went over to the computer in the corner of my RV room and turned it on. I then looked up jails near me and twenty-one jails came up. I figured go find a camp ground near one, go in see if my mom is there and move on. I went to the closest one and my mom wasn't there.

It was getting late so I moved into the camp ground and made dinner. Jasper can't chew so I mashed up his meat. I then gave a tiny bit to cottontail(he scarfed that down). After Cottontail got his food, I gave myself the biggest piece. Man was that good.
