The Very First Lost Girl (A Captain Swan Story)

Chapter 1

As we all got of the Jolly Roger, I felt like I was being watched. I've had enough people on my case considering I almost died an hour ago and everyone have been getting really overprotective lately, especially my father and Hook! We reached shore and I swear I saw something move through the bushes. Man whoever thought Neverland would be so creepy!

" Love, are you all right, because don't forget you have me here to protect you."

Are you serious this has been like the fifth time he's asked me this.

" Hook I'm...." I was interrupted.

"Hey pirate! Do you want to lose the other hand!"

Ugh why is David so overprotective. Yea I get it he's trying to make up for 28 years, but if I lasted that long without his help I think I'm still good.

" Uh David, I think I can handle Mr. Swashbuckler over here, I've already tied him to a wall and left him on a beanstalk."

David chuckled and I restrained a giggle. I looked over at Hook to see his reaction, I thought he would be slightly amused.... I was DEAD wrong. He looked like someone ripped his heart out from his chest and started crushing it. Oh my gosh, I feel so bad now. Wait! What! I shouldn't feel bad its Hook right, I should feel nothing. Wow I'm in Neverland for an hour and I already hate it.

" Sorry, lets just keep moving." I say to him hoping he will quickly accept my apology.

He nodded to show me that he accepted it and we kept walking. I felt him move closer to me, but I backed away. I felt like I wanted to move closer, but no I can't let my walls down not again.

Hook's POV

It has been about a day since we docked in Neverland and I can already feel I am not wanted here. Not by the Charmings. Not by Regina. And definitely not by Pan. I think the only person who wants me her is Emma, even though she won't admit it.

"Emma darling, do you think that I am wanted her, or needed?"

"Of course you are wanted here, I think they just need to get used to you helping us, and David is just overprotective about you and I."

Wait did she just say you and I?

" Well no need to worry love, I would never hurt you or your family."

"Thats always good to know." She answers blushing.

Wait! SHE'S BLUSHING! Wow I did not expect that. We continued on walking and he made her way in front of me. We reached one of the thicker parts of Neverland and it is a little difficult to see where you are walking. Emma went to go step over a root and stumbled backwards. I was glad I was paying attention or I would have dropped her.

"Um thank you." She said so uncomfortably. We walked closer together now and I felt Emma move her hand so it brushed up against mine. But she pulled away quickly. If she does that again tomorrow I think I will try to hold her hand.
