The following morning was a turning point in Charles' life. Then was his first recording and he was too excited about it. The song didn't seem much appealing to him but he decided to sing it at last with all his efforts. It was a local traditional song and didn't get much popularity. He then took part in a singing competition (reality show) but unfortunately couldn't win it. He didn't give up. He kept on trying and by the time when he was 20 he had sung about a dozen of songs and some were superhits.
