Chapter 1:

Zayn's POV:

"Everybody look! I have her picture!" Harry's shrills filled the house as he stood on top of the staircase, waving the lucky girl's picture. Lucky because she will have the privilege of sharing the room with the one and only Ally, my crush since I first came here.

"She's so pretty!" Nina, one of the house keeper, exclaimed. I sniggered at Harry because he was not even trying to hide his obvious obsession over her. Harry liked older ladies, Nina was one of them but he loved Taylor and Claire even more.

"Close that filthy mouth Hazza!" Louis said, shutting Harry's mouth himself.

"Zayn! It must be your lucky day today!" Niall shouted, running towards me and smiling like a cute goof.

"What's happened?"

"Ally wants to talk to you. In private." Niall beamed with sparkling eyes. Everyone knew how much I doted on Ally and this rarely happened because she wasn't interested in me at all which just made me more infatuated with her. She was the definition of my type of girl. A proper rock chick with black everything to match her personality, so different from all the other girls here. The others girls like Jade and Leigh-Anne for example, were the girlish girls in town. Don't get me wrong, I loved them all but I preferred a dark, gothic chick for myself, someone like Ally.

"It's a trap." Liam, the wise one spoke, poking his head out of the book for the first time today.

"I don't think so. She sounded dead serious to me." Niall said.

"When is she ever not serious?" Jade taunted, going upstairs to have a look at the new girls picture, her hands full of biscuits as usual.

"Hey don't say bad things about Ally in front of Zayn. Don't you know how sentimental he gets over her?" Louis joked.

"That's right! Whoever has a problem with Ally better deal with me first."

"Go before she changes her mind!" Niall reminded me.

I ran outside as fast as I could. Before going, I swept my hand through my hair and fixed my shirt, making sure everything was perfect.

"What's up Ally?"

Shit! That came out all wrong. Ally gave me her normal annoyed look before talking.

"I need you and your stupid little gang to do something?"

"Anything you say Ally."

Stop sounding so desperate but I couldn't help it.

"You know the new girl's coming today."

"Yeah..."

"Well I need you to make sure she doesn't okay."

Shit became real. How the heck was I supposed to do that? I couldn't deny Ally either...

"Why?"

"I need my own space that's why. I don't like sharing you know that don't you?"

"Of course I do. I understand."

"So...?"

"What's in it for me?"

Ally got up from the bench and gave me that smouldering, irresistible look.

"If you do that, I will go on a date with you."

Yikes! Was this a dream? There was no way Ally, THE Ally, was saying she will go on a date with ME! Right that's it, this new girl Perrie or whatever her name was, had to go.
