In the morning

It was 6 in the morning and manik woke up early. He did his morning business and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for nandini.

She's so upset and hurt I want to take her pain away. She can't even look at me but she doesn't know I have waited for got damn 5 years. How I have missed seeing her pretty face, her touch. Manik thought to himself.

He surfed the internet for 15 min and decided to make pancakes, french toast, hollandaise sauce and coffee.

He went to her room with the breakfast on a tray. He kept the tray aside and saw nandini sleeping peacefully. He kissed her forehead and nandini stirred in her sleep.

"Wake up nandu." He cooed her.
She opened her eyes and saw him. His face was inches away from her.
She sat with a jerk and stared him

"What the hell are you doing here manik?" She shouted.

"I have made you breakfast so freshen up and have it." Manik said patiently.

"I can't even see your face and you are asking me to have breakfast made by you. You wish." She said angrily.

"Nandini I'm trying to seek your apology and I will do anything so that you will forgive me." Manik whispered.

"Manik I don't want to see your face. The person who chose his friend's happiness over me can do that again right?" Nandini yelled at him.

"How did you know?" Manik asked confusion clouding his mind.

"Navya told me. Manik I am not a bloody toy that you can pass me to your friend. You played with my feelings, you lied to me. You broke my heart into pieces. Because of you I can't trust anyone so easily." Nandini said her vision blinding with tears.

"I know I know what I did was wrong but that was a mistake." Manik tried to reason.

"Mistake is what you do unknowingly but you did that deliberately. Manik I trusted you so much." Nandini said.
