There he was

The traces In his hair were no longer caused by him, but another. His eyes no longer locked on the same person. His lips pressed against another mans.

Mark clenched onto the bouquet he had bought him for Valentine's Day. Tears building up in his eyes, trying to escape. He covers his mouth with a free hand, choking back a sob.

The two heads snap toward him. The realization suddenly slapped the cheating male as he realized what he had done. As is he was a deer caught in headlights. A guilty expression soon plastered his face.

"M-mark I-."

He didn't give the other man the chance to finish his sentence. He quickly threw the flowers at cheating male, he bolted out of the apartment. He ran without stopping. Not even when his lungs felt as if they were burning. He didn't care where he was running to. Heck if he even knew where. He just felt as he needed to get as far away as he possibly could.

~

Finally stopping to rest on the sidewalk in an unfamiliar part of the city as he was out of breath. The air being so cold he can see his breath. Mark began to shake.

How could he? Why would he do this to me. We spent the last 4 years together all to be thrown away. How long has this been going on. Was it my fault? Of all days why today?

"I'm so stupid."

Mark whispered while hugging himself. Tears already streaming down his face.
His phone began to buzz in his pocket. He already knew who it was without checking. Not bothering answering, He just let it ring. Ignoring the next five that came after it.

~

He had calmed himself down. After an hour. After contemplating for a awhile he decided to make the call. After a few rings the person answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey mom."

"Oh son? Why do you sound so sad."

Mark let out a silent whine. "I caught Jackson with another guy, mom"
