A/N: changing the point of view because I'll feel more comfortable w/ this style:)
Tyler quickly pulled into the mall parking lot, eager to find the right thing to wear for the night. Joshua wasn't even really thinking about what to wear, because he was too ecstatic for the upcoming event. Plus, Josh had work and was basically broke so he was unable to shop for himself usually.

Tyler, on the other hand, had a credit card full of money from his rich yet oblivious parents. Tyler rarely used the credit card because he felt  bad for blowing money that wasn't earned by himself. But today was different, he would gladly use his parents money. His parents never really paid attention to him anyway, unless Tyler brought up an Ivy League college or something that would benefit the family financially. Although this family was quite wealthy, they never bothered to move out of their first house. Tyler's parents always hassled him about getting rid of his piece of junk car, but he never wanted to get rid of it.

His parents had extremely nice cars, though. Most of his families money was spent on ridiculous things- food, housekeepers, sport equipment that would never be used. Even though his parents had the money, whenever Tyler brought up possibly buying him something like an instrument or a book, they would quickly say those things aren't worth the money and that they didn't even have space in their house. They did have space.

Joshua had been living by himself now, a senior in high school. He never found the need for himself to attend any school anymore. The job he had at the moment was already paying the bills nicely, and he might even get promoted. The apartment he lived in was fair, so he wasn't complaining. It wouldn't hurt to at least get some financial support from he remaining family, but even they were trying to keep their heads above the water.

Tyler dreaded going to the mall. He was awkward, and knew people yet no one really knew him. There was no problem for him going with friends, but when he went by himself the anxiety was running at a quicker pace than normal. Go in and go out. Simple. Tyler thinks to himself for reassurance. His hands shaking on the door handle of his car before he swings it open. The car door swings open from the windy Ohio air, so he closes it basically as quickly as he opened it.

Once inside the mall, he slid his eyes around the entire mall. Many of the stores Tyler didn't even recognize. What the frick is Ulta? Tyler thought to himself. People these days come up with such strange store names. He thought while glancing into the bright makeup store to his right. That much lighting was not necessary.

Finally, he found the store he was looking for. He had been worrying it had closed along with the many others that had shut down since the last time he visited the mall. Zumiez had always been his favorite store. It had everything. Skateboards, hats, hoodies, jeans, etc..

After shopping for what felt like forever to Tyler, he decided on a black thrasher hoodie, black jeans, with his black/ white jeans. To top it off, he wore a black hate that had a simple. white smiley face on it.

The cashier awkwardly handed Tyler his bag and receipt, and Tyler paced out of the store and mall as quickly as he could. The breakdown he would have if you would see someone from school would be too bad.

I wonder what Josh is going to wear. Tyler's thought threw these kinds of wonders at him. No matter what Josh was going to wear, Tyler was sure Josh would look great. Even when he came into the bookstore looking like a mess awhile back, Josh still looked angelic.

Josh had to work all day, when all he wanted to do was be with Tyler. Today had been the most clock-watching he'd ever done, and that was saying a lot. Every second felt like an hour, and every hour felt like a year. Josh would have to leave early anyway to change into something other than his gross work clothes.

He would probably end up choosing his usually clothing choice. Hoodie, jeans, vans. Hopefully Tyler wasn't going too far out, because that would be embarrassing for both of the boys.

When Josh finally left work at 4:00, he realized he only had one hour to change and pick up Tyler. That should be enough. The boys would have to go together to pick out the hair dye before going to Josh's apartment. For once, Josh was glad to live by himself so he didn't have parents down his throat every single move when he got into a relationship.

Possibly tonight Josh would finally work up the courage to ask Tyler to officially be his boyfriend. That way, they would no longer have to just play these silly games with each other. Josh couldn't help but that the anxious thoughts that Tyler maybe didn't even like him.

The odds of that being true seemed extremely high in Josh's mind. On the drive home, Josh tore apart every single time he encountered Tyler and made it so ever time Tyler didn't even want to be around Josh. He changed his memories so naturally, without even thinking about what he was doing. By the time he got to the apartment, the damage was done.

He felt absolutely terrible about himself. No longer wanting to even see another human, and just crawl into his bed. Although he felt like hell (and thought he definitely looked like it), he would still attend this date. Usually Josh would come to his senses after his mind would do something like this. Plus, maybe he did actually have a chance with Tyler. Tonight would be the time to really find out.

For his outfit, he ended up choosing an all black hoodie with some dark wash jeans, along with his all black vans. He looked emo, but he basically was honestly. He and Tyler had the same style, so he didn't feel too bad about the outfit choice. Finally, 4:50 on the clock rolled around. It was time to go pick up Tyler.

A/N: Have a lovely day/night.
