We went inside and all eyes were on us, students were whispering I held Gavyn's arm tighter and I know that he felt my body tense 'cause he whispered in my ear "don't worry Keziah, I'm here" then i nodded,
Music is still playing in the background, it was a slow song but instead of dancing, most students bothered to waste their time spreading false rumors about us instead. to lessen the tension in the room, Gavyn waved at his friends and we walked towards them, they did their manly greeting and trent, one of his friends motioned to me
"hi," he said, i smiled and said 'hi' back
"guys, this is Keziah Cosgrove, she's a junior. Keziah, this is most of the football team, my football team," he chuckled "and these are some of the seniors and most of the senior cheerleaders, they'll introduce themselves to you 'cause it's too many to mention" he smirked, i nodded. Then automatically they introduced temselves to me one by one.

I was enjoying the dance, I haven't seen Aiden yet, but the seniors are really kind to me and Gavyn never left my side. I've met a lot of people, mostly seniors, many guys asked me to dance but Gavyn doesn't want to let me dance with any of them, but Vince, his bestfriend, convinced him to let him dance with me, for just one dance.
The football team and cheerleading team were crowding around Gavyn and I, and we were all having a good time laughing and drinking punch, when I saw 'em. I was frozen in shock, Gavyn felt That I was uneasy and checked where I was looking and he understood why I was in a shocked state, he immediately snaked his hand around my waist, and he smiled at me and I smiled back at him. None of the crowd we are at noticed but instead Paul, one of the football team called Aiden. Yep, i totally forgot, Aiden was part of the team, great. But Gavyn squeezed my hand which he is now holding, telling me it's fine.
Aiden went to the crowd with Audrey behind him and was welcomed by everyone, except by Gavyn. Soon, Gavyn saw me and smiled, "Kei! You're here! How're you? I never thought you'd come!"
I raised my eyebrows briefly then returned a fake smile, "oh, too bad. But I wouldn't miss this dance even though someone dumped me on the last minute." i laughed and he was shocked, frozen
"hey Aiden, what's up?" Gavyn greeted him with a smirk, and still holding to my hand.
Aiden shifted his eyes and it landed on my hand on Gavyn's then his eyebrows raised "so, you two are together?" he asked frowning
" well, Gavyn's my date for the night, he saved me from the misery from my supposedly date who stood me up just hours ago." i smiled At them
" yeah, well I would continue dating Keziah if she'd let me to." Gavyn smiled at me
"of course, I would be certainly happy to date you" i replied happily, smiling at Gavyn flirtaciously. Aiden faked a cough which caught our attention
"oh, Aiden, you wouldn't mind if Keziah and I date, would you?" Gavyn asked
"well... Uhm, " aiden stuttered
"of course he wouldn't." audrey butted in "cause we're back together."
Gavyn and I looked at each other then we looked at Aiden who seemed shocked as we were
"well, congratulations Aiden, you've got the slut back" Gavyn smirked and I gasped
"how dare you!" Aubrey was now red with fury,
she was about to slap But Gavyn reminded her something "i wouldn't do that if i were you. Especially to someone who knows your darkest secrets and could tell everyone about it in a flash" gavyn was full of confidence and Audrey put her hand down again defeated
