The griffons just won't learn. I was currently pounding a retreating ambush force with twenty millimeter bullets, wiping out the few dozen that had tried to attack the crippled company. I still shot when they were mostly out of range.

I reloaded the drum, and saw the last of the enemy retreat to the nearby mountains.

“Move out! They'll be back!” I yelled out as I started to clear the brush for the troops behind me.

The men followed me without word, and kept an eye out. That was the second ambush today, and everyone was on edge.

Surprisingly, the worst that has happened was a stab wound to one of the Cadets. He was fine after a quick stim.

I worried for the sanity of the land’s leader, and on what diseases I might catch from these ponies.

Then again, that Stim does have anti- disease properties.

Through our three day trek of the forest, we had been ambushed ten times, and each time I killed almost all the ambushers.

This meant that the enemy presence in Equestria was insane if we are this far into friendly lines, and this close into the capitol.

I continued to clear a path, and punched through any large trees. I couldn't help but think on what was going on in the capitol.

If there are this many enemies here, I don't think it’ll be good.

Each night, Shining and I talked about Equestria. He told me of the basic history, the rulers, the war, that he was a prince, and more.

This information was quite useful on my assessment of the ponies.

They were peaceful, xenophobic, naive, and ignorant on war. They basically sent their police force to fight a war with an actual army.

I also learned that they had very primitive technology, and relied on their magic to get things done.

I punched through the last tree, and light flowed in. We had reached the end of the Everfree forest, and we were on a path next to a mountain.

On top of the mountain was a city hanging on the edge of the mountain. It was supported by a single pillar.

It was also on fire.

“Canterlot is being attacked! Let's go Titan!” Shining yelled as he started to run for the city.

I stopped him with my titan’s arm.

“Think Shining! I will go defend the city, go to Ponyville! I doubt there is anyone at all there!” I yelled through my opened hatch.

“Go!” I yelled.

“Be careful Titan!” Shining yelled as he directed his men towards a fork in the road.

I closed the hatch, and with a “Control transferido al piloto” the entrance was sealed, and I was on my way.

The path that was once dirt became one of cobblestone, and my OS advised me.

“He terminado de mapear el área”

I looked at my mini map that was on my HUD, and saw nothing but more path further up.

I continued like this for a few minutes, the path spiraling like a staircase up the mountain.

I was on my objective after ten minutes, and was greeted by what used to be a golden gate. It was dented heavily in many spots, and was opened. I saw no one, but heard the sounds of battle perhaps a block away.
