The Second Dimension

Chapter 1

The Dimension Shifters were a team of specially picked soldiers that go from dimension to dimension to chase a criminal known as Drakora. Sargent Tyler Daniels knew Drakora more than anyone and was determined to bring him to justice. When Tyler was 5 years old he wanted to become a Football player but then one night his house got broken into, His parents went to check it out and the guy instantly pulled out a gun and shot them both one after the other, Drakora spared Tyler's life this time and then left.

A few hours later the police arrived after a number of complaints of gun shots, Tyler was taken to a foster home and was placed with a new family within a few weeks. That day changed him... He was obsessed with finding out who the guy was that killed his parents. After he got adopted he stopped eating very much. He then started a new school and after several weeks he never made any friends and just kept getting into trouble so he was moved to a new school and the same happened there and that happened multiple times until the day he saw that the guy who murdered his parents was caught and sentenced to a lifetime in prison. He finally was able to live his life but he wasn't fit to go back to school. He still wasn't eating properly and so he became skinny to the bones and then one day he just passed out while walking down the stairs from his bedroom. He was rushed to hospital where he spent 3 months while he recovered fully and was able to walk properly again.

He was discharged after 3 months of being in hospital. He was really determined to start school again once he was out so that's what happened. He joined a school that was 10 minutes away from his house so he could walk there and back every day. On his first day at the new school he was shown around by a girl called Angelina. She had long blond hair and Bright blue eyes. Tyler and Angelina became really close friends quite quickly and it turned out Angelina didn't have any friends beforehand either. A year went by and Angelina turned 15 and that's when Tyler decided to ask her to be his Girlfriend She replied "yes" while filled with joy. Years went by and their relationship stayed as strong as ever and then one night Tyler was round Angelina's house for a little bit and they were just lying there on her bed and out of the blue Tyler asked her to marry him... Angelina looked over to him in surprise and asked if he was being serious and he replied saying that he was. Angelina started to tear up. She then jumped over and wrapped her arms around Tyler and then cheerfully said she would be happy to.

After they had both turned 20. On July 16th 2045 Angelina and Tyler finally got married. Two years later Angelina old Tyler that she was going to be having a baby. At the time Tyler didn't know how to respond but he made sure he was still there for her every step of the way. 9 months later Angelina went into labour. At the hospital Tyler was told to go sit outside. He didn't want to argue with the doctors and so he went outside and sat down. He picked up the newspaper and started to scan read. But everything changed at that moment, all the horrible memories came flooding back... he froze in his place... the newspaper read "Drakora escaped from prison" he could feel the anger bubbling inside him but he needed to stay calm because today was meant to be a happy day for him. Then all of a sudden the lights went out... Tyler looked around and then stared down the hallway for a split second to see a familiar figure standing in the distance... then the lights switched back on and the figure was gone... Tyler swore the figure was Drakora but he didn't have time to think about it because the doctor came out looking like something was wrong and there was... Angelina had passed away while giving birth... Tyler was all alone again... he started crying, then the nurse brought out a little baby boy and gave him to Tyler. Tyler sat there with the baby in his arms and he continued to cry. After minutes of crying he finally named the baby boy Ryan after his farther. A year went by and Tyler realised that he couldn't take care of Ryan without Angelina. So his foster parents decide to foster Ryan so Tyler would still be able to see him but still look after himself.
