Day: Saturday
Time: 3:48 am
Year: 3035

I woke up, horrified. My head is pounding, heart is racing, chest aching. My palms are sweaty as I pulled my blanket to the side of my bed. I sat on the corner of my bed as I slowly felt my body feel heavier and heavier. I moved my hands, covering my eyes as I shook violently.
"Why am I feeling like this... my anxiety has never gotten this bad... why is it now?" I mumbled into my hands. A loud clank noise came from the corner of my room. Startled I turn my head quickly to the corner. I see a dark figure standing upright, but its shape was not like anything human like. My heart starts feeling like its going to burst out my chest. My anxiety skyrockets as I try to speak to this entity, but only parts of what I wanted to say comes out.
"W-w-ho is t-that.... why a-re you he-," I stopped and recollected my thoughts. Maybe it was my mother. I shouldn't be so scared. I get up to investigate, calling out for my mother.
"M-other! Is that you?" Slowly but surely I start moving towards the dark entity. My legs grew weaker, my heart pounded harder, and it starts getting harder to breath. I reach out my hand to the corner, my body grew colder. Its getting harder to stand. An arm reaches out for mine. I looked at the hand seeing my mothers features and her ring.
"Mother, its really you..?" I sighed out as she grabs my hands. My mother speaks in a dark monotone voice as our hands met.
"Awe, son are you OK. We are going to have fun today." She chuckled deviously. My vision fades in and out. My body grew weaker, my legs gave out as my vision fades to black I spoke out.
"I knew it wasn't you mothe-" My body hits the floor, Collapsing on itself. A loud bang rings threw my home. I gasped for air as the darkness filled the room.

I woke up gasping and coughing. White light fills every nook and cranny of this empty plain. I stood up, legs shaking as I look around seeing nothing but white. Speaking in a whisper as my body can't produce enough energy to speak.
"Where am I... I can't remember a thing." I let out a frustrated scream. I turned around as I heard a faint female voice.

"Jake, you have to fulfill the prophecy. Your the only one that can..." I looked into the distance seeing a somewhat human shape in the distance.
"It sounded like a female, I hope she is OK." I slowly towards the figure in the distance. My legs still wobbled every step I take. My breaths slowly became normal as i get closer. She seems to be wearing a white dress, its flowing like ribbons in the wind. How is it possible. There is no wind blowing in this white empty plain.
"How do you know my name, and who are you?" My voice is not working properly, she seem to have heard me as she responded in a quiet but shy voice.
"I know your name... b-because.. I used to be your sister in the realm that you wish to return to. I know the way out, but I can't leave. I was brought here for a purpose, just like you." She spoke in a quiet but calming voice. I have a hard time believe this. We stand a foot away from each other. I can see the tears in her eyes as her dressed flowed.
"I don't really believe you... I'm sorry. I just been lied to many times before. Just where am I exactly?" My voice came out raspy. I try and try to comprehend what is going on, but its just to hard to grasp.
"I'll prove it to you. Close your eyes as I speak. Don't open until after I am done." I nodded as I slowly closed my eyes. My body shivered as her voice became a bit louder.
"Remember April 17th, 3030. Five years ago. I was in my room while you and mom were downstairs. I was just coloring as everything suddenly turned black. Maybe it was a power outage is what I thought to myself. So I tried calling out for you. I yelled and yelled but to no avail. My heart started pounding as someone, no I mean something came from the shadows. I blacked out and woke up here. I looked up and saw a faint vision or a door that has let me see what had happen to my body. I saw you walk into my room... Seeing you break down and cry as you saw my ripped up body was the most worse experience ever. I can't go back because i have no body to be in. My spirit only remains. Now open your eyes and look up." Her voice trembles as if she was going to cry. My eyes opened as I leaned my head back looking up. Tears start falling from my pale face as I looked up seeing my mom panic and cry while she looked for me. My moms voice echoed threw this white room we are in. My mother spoke,
"I can't live like this anymore... first I lost my daughter, and now my son. I-I can't do t-this.... Goodbye world. Jake.... Maria, don't worry mamas coming. See you in the afterlife." I see her stand on a chair, her head out of view. She kicked the chair as we heard her neck snap. My heart stopped, the world beneath my feet started shaking. I slowly hear my sister start crying. I fell to the floor as my vision starts to fade. My lungs feel like they have been stabbed, I can't breath. I heard my sister calling out for me, but my hearing is going out. Then silence along with darkness.

My eyes slowly opened. Someones holding me, as I felt tears hitting my cheek. I looked up only to see my sister. I felt dizzy as if my body had given up on me. I sat up and asked her in a soft voice.
"What.... happened?" She hugged me tightly as she cried.
"I thought I lost you, you passed out.... your heart stopped beating... I didn't know what I would of done if I lost you here. There is no telling what would happen after you die here... I need you to get up, I need to take you somewhere safe before tomorrow." She sounded scared as I looked up at her.
"What is tomorrow?" My voice still was like a soft whisper.
"Tomorrow is Saturday, you have been passed out for almost two days. Saturdays are the days they hunt us down. They can kill us in one hit we need to hide. Get up and follow me. We don't have time." My legs are wobbling as stood up. She sounds like someone has scared her to death. I looked at her and nodded. She starts to run to a place in this white plain. I followed up behind her finding it hard to catch my breath. My body has been technically in a coma for two days. I pushed my body to its limit trying to be right next to my sister. She takes a sharp left and jumps into some type of portal. I jumped in after, but my body had almost collapse as we been transported to a familiar room. I looked around as it was a replica of my sisters old room. She signaled me to be silent as she points to a corner in which had a type of sliding door. I nodded as I held her hand. My eyes teared up. Feeling her hand after so many years. I finally have my sister back. I slid the door open as it reveled a small room. I pulled her in, sliding the door closed after she came in.
"We need to rest. Tomorrow is a day that we need to be prepared for. Hiding here is not an option they can't know my secret place. If they find us here... they will kill us on the spot..." She spoke frantically.
"Who are quote on quote they? I have so many questions." I spoke in a whisper as I try to calm her by holding her hand and pulling her close. A few moments of silence had gone by. It took me a while but I had realized she had fallen asleep in my arms. I might as well sleep. I closed my eyes, my mind running wild. My body, mind, and thoughts can not for the life of me comprehend what is going on. My eyes closed as I start crying softly. My mind repeats my mothers death over and over. Why couldn't I save her? Why?
