Natsuki was walking the halls of the dormitory, returning to his room from working on a project with Haruka. He heard the sound of someone playing the violin coming from one of the rooms so he stopped to listen.
"This tune, it sounds familiar," Natsuki said to himself. His head to began to hurt while he tried to think of the tune's name so he took of his glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose. In an instant, his face changed to one of anger. 'Who the hell is playing MY song? And on a violin no less!' Satsuki was pissed! He couldn't bring himself to interrupt their beautiful playing though and listened intently to the melodious vibrations until the song ended.
Before (Y/n) could put her bow down, the door was flung open and Satsuki barged in, grabbing her violin. He tossed it to the side with no regard for the delicate instrument. "Who the HELL do you think you are?!" He growled as he pinned her against the wall.
After coming down from the initial shock, (Y/n) calmly said, "Shouldn't I be asking you? This my room room after all."
Satsuki sneered in response, ripped her bow from her grip, and snapped it in half before harshly throwing it to the floor. "Answer the question!"
(Y/n) frowned at his actions, "(L/n) (Y/n). You WILL be replacing that I hope you know."
He completely ignored her comment and instead continued his interrogation. "What are you doing playing that song?! Why were you playing it on a violin?! Are you TRYING to piss me off?!" (Y/n) only frowned again. Frustrated with her lack of response Satsuki slammed his palms against the wall on either side of her head, caging her in. "ANSWER ME!!!"
"Ah, I see now," the (h/c) girl said thoughtfully, examining the furious male up close. "You're him. The one who crashed the concert. The one who wrote this song. Tell me, what do you call it? I think something like Orion's Sonic Symphony sounds fitting."
"Tch! I would never name it something as stupid as that!" The blonde sneered.
"Ok, then what do you call it?"
"Orion De Shout Out"
"Hm, I like it. I did have one part right though. So, mysterious concert casher and violin hater, what's your name?" She continued to press the male.
He gave her smirk before replying, "Wouldn't you like to know. And I don't hate violin, I just don't like brats who think they can steal other people's work," his mouth now in a frown.
"Stealing? I wouldn't call it that. I was simply playing one of my favorite songs on what USED to be my favorite Cremona violin. Doesn't every musician play tunes they like by ear?"
Satsuki's eyes widened at this answer. 'My song? A favorite? And to think she was only playing by ear!' He didn't want to reveal to the girl that he was actually quite touched by her response. Instead he replied, "humph, I suppose so. But if I find out you ever try to do something with your little 'cover piece' you will regret the day you ever heard my song."
With that he backed away from the (h/c) and stalked out of her room.
"I never got your name!" (Y/n) called out, but was cut off by him slamming her door.
The next day Natsuki was sitting on his bed, cuddling his Piyo-chan and chatting with Syo. A knock was heard from the other side of the door. Syo answered it to find (Y/n) from his class on the other side. The girl said nothing as she squeezed past Syo and entered the room.
"Hey, (Y/n)-san, what are you doing?" A confused Syo watched as the girl bent over to inspect Natsuki's confused face.
"Hmmm," was all she replied while tilting her head to the side. She reached for Natsuki's glasses.
"H-hey! Stop! Don't touch--" Syo rushed to stop (Y/n) from removing the glasses but he was too late. Natsuki's entire demeanor changed and Syo visibly paled, frightened for what the unpredictable male would do next.
"There you are. I thought that was you," (Y/n) said, staring at the blonde boy who had now discarded the chick plushie onto the floor.
"What are you doing here?" He questioned her. "Or did you want to find out how serious my threats were?" He smirked.
"As if! I'm here to get the money you owe me," the girl replied with a straight face.
Syo couldn't believe what he was witnessing. Satsuki seemed to be having an almost NORMAL conversation. With a girl no less!
"Money? I don't owe you a cent. What money?" The young delinquent's smirk only widens as (Y/n) places her hands on her hips.
"The money to replace my violin that YOU broke!" She said with a huff.
'Is (Y/n)-san looking for a death sentence?!' Syo was preparing to intervene.
"That was your own fault. I'm not paying for a thing," Satsuki said while placing his hands behind his head, a sign that he had no intention of getting up.
"Is that so?" (Y/n) raised an eyebrow. "We'll see what President Saotome has to say about students destroying other students' instruments then."
"You wouldn't dare," Satsuki's eyes narrowed, his smirk wiped clean off his face.
"Wanna find out?" She wasn't backing down.
"Tch! Fine! Let's go into town and pick one out then!" Satsuki said, getting off the bed.
"Great! Let's go grab my coat!" (Y/n) beamed up at the tall blonde.
"Ok, but since I'M paying for the violin, YOU'RE paying for the coffee I want," Satsuki says with a smirk while dropping an arm around the shorter girl's shoulder.
"Hey, hands off the merchandise!" She said trying to shrug off his arm unsuccessfully.
Satsuki only chuckled at her reaction, arm moving from her shoulder down to her waist to pull her closer to his side.
Syo could only stare with his mouth agape as the two walked away, (Y/n) still playfully bickering with the delinquent.
'Someone pinch me. I must be dreaming. No way can this be real!' Syo was still confused as to what just happened. 'Was Satsuki actually nice to someone??? Oi! Did he seriously just agree to go on a date???' Poor Syo couldn't believe he was just beat to asking out his secret crush by his kawaii-obsessed roommate's alter-ego.
