Nicole and Shawn both look at me with shocked expressions. Somebody spilled water on my phone. I head over to the counter as quickly as I could and shake the water off as Nicole grabs some napkins from the counter. She hands them to me and I wipe my phone down as best as I could. "Do you have any rice here?" Shawn asks. Nicole shots him a confused look. "Why would we have rice in a cafe?" Shawn may be hot, but he doesn't think very much. Nicole shakes her head as she cleans the water on the counter. Shawn gets a deep shade of red as he realizes what he just asked.
After the catastrophe Shawn grabs his drink and we all head out. Shawn walks away, after giving me a hug(omg guys she got a hug), and I lock up. I turn to Nicole and she says "I don't see it." I give a slight chuckle and say "Well I do. He's hot, Nicole, fucking hot."
"It must be because I don't like huge dicks," she says with a sly grin. It takes me a second, but after a bit a punch her in the arm. "I see what you did there!" We laugh about it as we make our way to our cars. We wave goodbye, and as I hop in I think to myself what a good friend she could be.
I pull up to my house and go in the door. I plop on my bed and fall into a deep sleep.

RING! RING! RING!
Everyone hops out of their seats and leaves the classroom. I take my time as to not get ambushed by the crowd of teens waiting to go home. I pack up all my stuff and wait outside the classroom for Lilly. She always stays and talks to Mr. Handel, our chemistry teacher. No wonder she's his favorite.
After waiting for what seemed like days she pops out of his room and bounced towards me. "Are you gonna do it today?" she immediately asks me. I feel sweat already starting to form, but I tell her that I am.
"Good! Cause I think that they deserve to know. They are your parents after all."
"Yeah, I just hope they won't over react."
"I'm sure it'll be fine."
We head out of the school and onto the path to our neighborhood. We stay away from the group of people skateboarding. That group of people are notorious for pounding others for money. Luckily, I have one of the most popular people in the school with me.
We near where we have to split ways and go to out homes. Lilly grabs my hands and says, "I know you've got this. I'm sure they'll let you and understand. I'm here for you, Kim." I give her a big hug and make my way to my house with determination and bravery practically oozing out of me.
I pound my way up the stairs and start to unlock the door with my house key when my knees start to get shaky. "I have two hours to prepare. I'll be fine," I tell myself as I walk upstairs to my room. I set my bag down and immediately turn to my mirror and start rehearsing what I'm going to say to them. After several hours I hear the door open and voices come in contact with my ears. "Kimmy! We're home!" My father says. My two brothers and sister aren't home-Lance is with a friend, Julie is taking a road trip for Spring Break, and Gavin is in college. I take a deep breath and make my way downstairs.
I sit at the table and wait. For what, I'm not sure but after a while a plate of food is sat before me. I stare at it until my mother speaks up. "Kim? What's wrong honey? You've been acting strange," she says in a worried tone. Another deep breath.
"Mom, Dad," I look up to meet their gazes, "I think I want to go to college in Europe." Nothing is said. I look at their faces. All I see is shock and pain. I start to become shocked. This wasn't supposed to happen... Why weren't they saying that it's okay? That it's great that I want to go? That they're happy that I want to go to the best science institution in the world?

I wake up in a gasp. I turn to my clock and barely see that it's 2:37 in the morning. My mind goes back to the dream. I curl up in a ball and cry until I fall back asleep.

Woo this was a rough chapter for me. The last part anyway. I bet you weren't expecting that huh? I hope you were entertained. And don't worry,I have something BIG planned for chapter 10. So you gotta wait for one more.
