Chapter 4

It was a little after 2:30 but the entire day had seem to go by really fast. I smiled back and practically scream "yes finally some people that I can have fun walking home with" I paused, El said "are you ready because I need to get home I have so much homework to do tonight."

We were walking down the busy roads as they showed me the quickest way home, and all the places around town on the walk home from school. I reach out for my phone to see that I forgot I turned it off during class so Jude screams in my face "what's your number" really load. I almost fell over. As I try and get my hearing back I say "123-456-7890" in El's and Anthony's ear so only they could hear it. Only because I wanted to get on Jude's nerves just for him taking away my hearing with al the screaming that he did.

Minutes later my phone started going crazy with texts from these unfamiliar numbers that ended up to be El and Anthony. What they said was "heyyyy wats up", "hey gurl I have ur # now hhahaaha", and weird ones like "so do u no what happened to the chicken after it crossed the road? well it got deep fried."

After a while I started getting texts from a new phone number but when I showed Jude and asked him, thinking he would know whose number that it was. He said in a sarcastic voice saying that it was his and I felt so relieved that it wasn't some weirdo and embarrassed; but I knew I didn't have to because I knew these people that I'm walking home with were going to be my friends, my best friends.
