My Brother's Worst Enemy

Chapter Fourteen ( Jacob's POV )

I knew Alex was going to messed this up , I knew she wasn't going to want to stay , I just saw this whole thing happening . He better be glad he has me . I finished getting dress to take Jade out the house for the day . I put on my favorite gold chain to go with my outfit . I had on dark blue jeans , all gold Neo Adidas , and a white hanes shirt . I try being simple , but it's near impossible for me . I walked out my room to the bathroom just as Jade was coming out . She had on those high waist jeans with the bleachy look to 'em and a white half top that fit really tight , and she covered up with a tanish brown sweater that flowed down her back to the back of her knees . She also had on a gold chain , " So , you just gonna take my swag ? " I said as she walked past me to her room . " What swag ? " she responded chuckling . I could tell she did her make up even though it looked natural . Only because her face didn't look like she shed a tear , when two seconds ago she was balling her eyes out . I went in the bathroom and did the normal morning things , if that includes standing in the mirror for 10 mins. after I was done . I turned the light off and walked out the bathroom and went back to my room to get my keys and wallet . I was finally ready to go , so I went down stairs . I was about to go into the kitchen but I could hear Jade on the phone . I assume it was her boyfriend , since she was sweet talking . I heard about her boyfriend , Tony I think that's his name . Not really the best boyfriend but she won't leave him . I don't know the full story but I know for a fact he hit her . I couldn't picture Jade in that kind of relationship , but whatever floats her boat .

I waited for about 5 mins on her to finish up the convo without me having to tell her but I guess they could talk for days about nothing . " Jade , I'm ready . " I said just as I opened the front door to the house . " Ohhh , okay . Coming . " she yelled as if I was far away . I just laughed . I heard her rush off the phone and then rush to make she looked alright . Then she finally grabbed a purse and her made sure she had her phone and walked casually to the front door . Which by the way I was holding open for her . On my gentlemen ishh , my mom taught me that .

We pretty much walked to the garage quietly , until I opened it and her jaw dropped . " You can pick which car . But i'm driving . " I said walking her inside what looked like a car dealership . I'm addicted to cars , it's like I have to have them . " Well , you made the selection pretty wide . " she chuckled as she looked at the Buick trucks . " Yeah , I know . " I shrugged . " Let's ride in that one ! " she said pointing to the all white mustang with the butterfly doors . " alright .. " I said flipping through the keys on my keychain . Once I got to the right one , I walked to the car and started it up . Jade got in and closed her door down . " Where we going ? " she questioned . I really hadn't thought about a spot . I can't take her anywhere like date spots . I had to think for a while . " Uhmm, we could go eat . " I suggested . " Good idea . It's only 10:30 , everything still selling breakfast . Who's breakfast you like best ? " she questioned . " Well , Steak & Shake is pretty good . " I said looking at to see if she agreed . " Oh yasss , let's go there ! " she agreed way more excited then I expected . I laughed , and she looked away just as I smiled at her . I just turned the radio on . She turned it back off , " Let's talk , I hate the radio . " I looked at her like she was crazy . " Talk ? " she nodded . " Well about what ? " I asked looking back at the road . " I don't know , and don't care just no radio . " I saw her look out the window . " I'd like to talk about your brother flipping out this morning . " I responded . If we not going to listen to the radio she better hold convo good . She was laughing , really hard . " He just a terrible big brother ." and she said talking while laughing . I stopped the car on the side of the road and she stopped laughing . " Terrible ? " I asked facing her . " Yep ." she answered popping the ' p ' . " You really think he is that bad ? " I question . " He hasn't always been this terrible . " she said wiggling in her seat as if she was getting uncomfortable . I started the car back up and got back on the road . " What had he done , and if I don't agree ima make you tell me an example . " I suggested as a way to get all this off her chest .

" Okay deal . He's selfish ..." I stopped her .

" Selfish how ? "

" He was making or is making all that money and never shared any . Never cared about anyones feelings and i'm not just talking about mine ... have you seen him keep a girlfriend ? "

I nodded in agreement " Anything else makes him such a bad brother ? "

" Ofcourse , he is heartless . " that I agreed with . I nodded and she continued . " He is so overprotective ! He fought my boyfriend . Brothers don't threaten to shot your first love . He has trust issues with everyone . He didn't trust niether of us this morning and all we did was sleep in the same room ." I laughed .

" I feel you . But about him and your boyfriend ? How did that happen ? " she started chuckling .

" He hasn't told you , he loves bragging about that story . " she asked with a surprised look .

" Nope , so spill the beans already . " I said chuckling .
