The school day eneded slowly. I really wanted to just jump out the window and fly after that girl Ayame and I saw fly away. SkyBird, Peter, Ayame, and I waited on the front steps of the building for Sapphy.
"So where do you think that girl with the wings is?" Peter asked.
"I don't know," Ayame answered.
"I bet she's flying in the sky right now," SkyBird guessed.
"She might be," I replied. Sapphy came walking out with a guy following her.
"Who's he?" SkyBird asked looking at the boy who wore a red sweater. The hood was pulled over his head.
"This is Keno. He's a neko," Sapphy answered.
"Really? Can we see your ears?" Peter asked curious.
"Sure," Keno replied happily. He looked around and saw that students were still hanging around.
"What's wrong?" Ayame asked.
"I don't want anyone else to see my ears or tail," He said still watching students hanging around the building.
"Why don't we go somewhere where no ones around?" I said standing up.
"That's a great idea," SkyBird replied.
"Yeah. First let me go get a friend of mine," Keno said running back into the school.
"Sure. We'll all be waiting out here," Sapphy yelled to him. We waited there for about ten minutes before Keno came back out with a girl wearing a cloak. Ayame stood up immediately.
"You're the girl Hero and I saw!" Ayame shouted.
"Shhh! Calm down. You're going to attract a crowd!" Keno said in a hushed voice.
"Who are you?" Peter asked the girl.
"This is Autumn Pandark. She's shy and doesn't like to talk around strangers. She's an avian," Keno said patting Autumn on the shoulder. Autumn gave a small smile.
"We should probably go in the woods. No one will see us there," SkyBird said jumping to her feet.
"Right. Let's start walking then," I said walking towards the woods. We soon found ourselves deep in the woods. There was no way anyone would be able to see any of us.
"Alright. Now I'll show you my ears," Keno said taking his hood off. He had red ears. Peter being the person he was went over to Keno and touched his ears just to make sure they were real.
"Wow! Those are definitely real ears," Peter said amazed.
"It must be cool to be a neko," Sapphy said with a delighted smile.
"It's pretty cool," Keno replied.
"I have ears too. They're wolf ears," Ayame said taking off the hat she had worn to hide them.
"Sweet," Keno said looking at Ayame's wolf ears.
"Do you two wanna join us? I mean since you're a neko and she's an avian. If you both don't want to that's okay," I said trying not to sound pushy.
"What do you think Autumn? Should we join them?"
"I think we should," Autumn said. Her eyes changed to gold.
"Woah! Your eyes just changed color!" SkyBird said in shock.
"They change with my mood," Autumn said with a small smile.
"Do you mind showing us your wings?" Peter asked autumn kindly.
"Okay," Autumn said taking the cloak off. She outstretched her tattered wings.
