Red vs Blue Oneshots

Maine x Reader

"Let's watch a movie." You said.
Maine gave you a questioning look.
"Oh come on! We never get a day off, I say we take advantage of it. Besides, it wouldn't kill you to relax once in a while." You argued.
Maine rolled his eyes and smiled a bit, kneeling down by the TV in your shared room to set up the DVD player.
"YAY!" You cheered, running off to the cafeteria to track down popcorn.

Where could it be? You thought to yourself as you scouted the kitchen for popcorn. I could've sworn I seen some a while ago.

Finally, you found three bags of popcorn hidden in the back of one of the kitchen cupboards. After "nuking" them in the microwave (okay, am I the only one who calls microwaving something "nuking it"), you returned to your and Maine's shared room for the movie.

Sitting beside each other on the couch, you curled up beside Maine, and he had his arm around your shoulders.

"Which movie?" You asked.
Maine just looked at you, no facial expression, he didn't sign an answer either.
"You're not telling?" You guessed.
He shrugged.
"Oh I get it. It's a surprise, isn't it?" You smiled.
Maine nodded.
"Alright then, I won't argue."

The movie had turned out to be (insert name of favourite movie here), your absolute favourite movie ever, of all time.

"Aw! Maine!" You cooed, throwing your arms around your boyfriend. "Thank you so much! Both for surprising me with my favourite movie, and watching it with me. You're the best."
Maine only smiled, laying down on the couch with you and hugging you close.
"I love you too, ya big softie." You whispered.
