Caboose x Donut

Thanks to Kryzaereader for suggesting this super-sweet Oneshot!

"Caboose? What are you doing here?" Simmons asked the blue soldier that appeared outside Red Base.
"Um, I was wondering if I could visit Donut for the day?" Caboose asked shyly.
"Oh, sure. It's Church and Tex, isn't it?" Simmons replied.
Caboose only nodded.
"Alright. Donut's in his room."

Caboose knocked on the pastel pink door, taking off his helmet.

"Oh hey Caboose! What's up? Oh... oh honey are you okay?" The pink soldier, who was currently in blue jeans and a blue shirt he stole from Caboose, asked.
Caboose shook his head no.
"Aw, come on, wanna talk?"

"Church and Texas were yelling at each other again... it scares me a lot." Caboose admitted.
"It's okay sweetie." Donut said comfortingly, holding Caboose closer as they cuddled on Donuts bed.
"Hey, I've got an idea! How about we make cookies?" Donut smiled.
"Chocolate chip?" Asked Caboose, gently kissing Donut's nose.
"Well of course!"

The kitchen of Red Base was filled with the smell of homemade chocolate chip cookies. Caboose was tasked with making the cookie dough, and Donut put them in the oven. They would've made more, but Caboose (and occasionally Grif) kept stealing some of the cookie dough.

"Caboose, I think we did a very good job on these cookies." Said Donut after eating one of said cookies.
"Yes we did. Thank you for making cookies with me Donut." Caboose said, hugging his boyfriend.
"I'm just glad you're not sad anymore." Donut smiled, kissing Caboose affectionately on the lips.

The pair just stayed like that for a while, kissing. That is until Church walked into the kitchen.

"Hey Caboose, Tucker made me come and apolo- You know what? It can wait."
