The Golden Flower

Part 1

  "Mother have you ever been outside." 5 year old Sehun asked. "Yes sweetheart many of times." The queen responed and finished sewing the quilt for her new born baby Jinsoo. "What is it like outside mother?" "Well the sun set and rise are very beautiful and the birds sing the most lovely songs you could ever imagine." The queen smiled.

"Will I be able to go outside the castle wall someday?" Sehun looked at his mother. "Maybe if your a good boy." The queen smiled. "Now now Jennie don't get the boys hopes up you know he can never leave the castle wall." The King said "But father I've heard stories about the outside and they all sound lovely." Sehun pouted. "Well those are just stories son." The King said. "But father you can't keep me in here fore ever. A slapping sound was heard in the room.

"Minjung you can't just slap him like that." Jennie rushed towards her son. "Jennie in hand that boy he needs to toughen up, I don't want my son to become a pansy like Byun Baeji's son." Minjung scolded. Sehun held his stinging cheek. His mother gave him a sympathetic look and backed away. "Sehun go to your room and go to bed young man." Minjung said. "Your so terrible to him Minjung he is only five." The queen picked up Jinsoo and walked after Sehun.

 "He'll thank me in the future." Minjung said and walked to his room. Jennie opened Sehun's door she had just put Jinsoo down so he could sleep. "Baby are you okay?" Jennie picked her son up and Sehun snuggled close to her bosom. "Mother I didn't mean to make him upset." Sehun sobbed. "I know baby but your father is an insetting man, but he shouldn't have slapped you, but you shouldn't have talked back to him he is your father after all." Jennie kissed Sehun's head.

"Sleep now my child." Little did Sehun know that, that would be the last time his sweet mother would hold him in her arms.
