Chapter 10

I picked up my bag and headed to the door. My mom was waiting for me, crying. I went up to her and gave her a huge hug.

"I love you. I promise, I'll be okay." I said assuring her. She nodded and kissed me on the cheek.

"Be safe. Call me often. And have fun." She said patting my arm. I headed to my car as I waved goodbye. I threw my bags in the trunk and climbed in. I started the car and backed out. I headed to Emerson's house to say good bye because I promised him.

I walked up to his door and knocked. When he answered the door, I grinned. He pulled me into a tight hug and I felt my shirt get wet. I looked at him with big eyes and wiped his cheek.

"You'll be okay. I'll come back and visit. Or maybe you can come to Seattle. Maybe one day. Well, I got to go." I said turning around. I grabbed me and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he pulled me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist. I pulled back and stared him in the eyes. "Just friends." I said. He placed his forehead to mine and nodded.

"May. I love you. Have fun in Seattle." He said placing me down. I kissed his cheek and went back to my car. I drove off to the airport where Zack texted me.

Can't wait to see you!! You'll finally be back home!!! Only a few more hours!! I smiled. How I loved Zack so much. I wanted to be his so bad, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. My flight was called and I walked out my gate. I sat in my seat and looked out the window. Goodbye Germany. You've been wonderful. You brought me many fond memories that I will never forget, but I must leave behind. I'll be back, but till then, goodbye. I'm off to make many more memories in Seattle. I loved you Germany, even though you brought several heart breaks, I still love you. Goodbye, for real now. I thought as the plane took off. I leaned back and closed my eyes. Seattle was only a twelve hour flight away.

I was awoken by the plane coming to a bumpy stop. I looked up to see the place I knew so well.

"Welcome to Seattle folks. It may be a few moments, so please sit tight. Thank you." I heard the captain over the intercom as I danced in my seat. I pulled out my phone and texted Zack and Carlie. IM HOME!! I'm at the arrival gate. I'll be a few. Just stay there, and don't move!!! I texted. I saw the people ahead of me stand, so I got up and started to walk. When I exited the plane, I saw Zack, Carlie, Kason, and my dad waiting. I ran to my dad and hugged him. He wrapped me up and lifted me in the air. I felt a tear run down my cheek.

"Hey girlie." He said in my ear.

"Hey daddy. I missed you. I was wondering when you would be home with me again." I said. That was something I said when I was five, and when ever I didn't see my dad for a long period of time, I told him that. He set me down and I didn't let go. All I could think of was being in his grasp once again. He was my strength. I couldn't stop crying tears of joy. Once I pulled away, I went to Carlie. She was crying as I hugged her. We held each other for ever. When she pulled away, Zack was right there immediately.

"Hey Mayflower. So good to hug you in Seattle soil again." He said. I smiled and placed a kiss to his cheek. I turned to Kason who put his hand out for me to shake it.

"May, this is Kason, my boyfriend. Kason, this is Maya, my best friend." She said. I grinned and shook his hand.

"Very pleased to meet you Maya." He said.

"Good to meet you too." I said. He backed away from me and put his arm around Carlie.

"Come on May. How about we get you settled in then we can go to a nice restaurant for a party?" My Dad suggested. I nodded and headed in the direction of baggage claim. After I got my bags, we went to my dads apartment.

"Remember. Only a few weeks. Once I go to school, I'll have a dorm then an apartment of my own." A said sitting on the couch. He walked over to me nodding when he handed me a cup of coffee. I felt my eyes getting heavy due to time zones, and luckily, being my dad, he noticed. I smiled and took a sip. The heat hit my tongue and made me jump. My dad chuckled as I stared at him.

  "Man, I missed you May." He said. I grinned.

  "I missed you too Dad." We sat in silence for a while. "I better go get changed." I said getting up. He nodded and I walked to my room. I opened my suitcase and picked out a pair of really tight skinny jeans with a short, tight crop top and some heels. I put on the jeans and shirt then put on my shoes. When I stood up, I fell back on my bed. I grunted and took my shoes off throwing them across the room.

  "Great! Now I can't wear heels again!" I grumbled. I pulled out I cute pair of booties with a small heel. I put them on and went out to meet my dad.

  "Ready to go girlie?" He asked. I nodded, grabbing my purse and phone.

  "Let's roll." I said walking out the door. I got in the car and sang to all the songs. When we arrived, I got out and blew a kiss to my dad. He waved and drove off. Zack then pulled up and climbed out his car. I went up to him and hugged him. He stared down my body.

  "Very... tight. And very sexy." He said. I rolled my eyes. "Are you trying to get me back?" He asked cupping my butt. I slapped his arm and he grabbed it rubbing in pain. I looked down at my feet so he couldn't see the embarrassment printed on my face. He placed a gentle finger under my chin and lifted my head. "It's working. I want you SO bad right now." He said placing a firm kiss to my lips. Just then, Carlie and Kason pulled up.

  "Wowza!! Look who are getting back together." Carlie said poking her head out of the car. I jolted back, surprised she was here already. She stared at me with large eyes. "And I see you want him back. As well as every other boy on this earth." She said glancing down my body.

  "Shut up Carlie!! I just wanted to look good. My mom NEVER let me wear something like this, but my dad allows it." I shrugged. Zack laughed and slung his arm around me.

  "Sure. That's why you wore that tight sexy outfit. Whatever helps you sleep at night." He said. You are what helps me sleep at night. I thought looking up at Zack. (What, y'all are inside May's head. Y'all get the weird thoughts she doesn't share. Deal with it.) I grabbed his hand as we sat down. I looked in his big brown eyes as I wished they were closed and kissing me. I sighed. One day. I thought. One day, he'll be mine. One day, we'll get married.
