Saved by an angel
I woke up and every thing was white, white walls, white sheets and a long, flowing white dress, like the ones you would picture an angel wearing. I started walking around and realized that my feet were not touching the ground and that what I thought was white walls, was really just a huge space of white nothingness. I started shouting to see if anyone could hear me and just heard my own echo. I was about to give up when a hand landed covered my mouth.
"don't scream" a voice said behind me with a slight hiss in their speech. I started to tremble and shake with fear coursing though my veins. I thought about trying to bite them, or kick them or something, but then thought better of it and just nodded my head and let the tears flow down my cheeks. The person slowly lowered their hand and took a tiny step back so that they can turn me around to face them. when i was facing them, I realized it was the guy that was watching me at the mall the other day. I studied him for a minute before I slapped him across the face. He staggered back a bit in surprise before regaining his balance. "What was that for ?" he asked, with a baffled look on his face
"That was for stalking and scaring me you bloody idiot" I said, giving him my best "if looks could kill, you'd be dead" glare.
" I was NOT stalking you, I was merely observing you" he said with a conceited tone and irritating smirk on his face.
" I don't care if you call it observing, watching or spying, it is still stalking" I growled at him.
He sighed in mock disappointment " fine, but since you have not asked my name I'll have to tell you. My name is Blake" He said with a lopsided grin.
I sighed in annoyance " My Name's Arianna, but you probably already know that" I gave him a sarcastic smile and turned away from him.
"Look i'm sorry that I creeped you out or scared you, but I to stop the accident from happening, but I was to late." When I looked into his emreled green eyes I saw so much regret and sincerity, I had to believe him
"What accident, Blake?" I asked with a slight waver in my voice
" The car accident"
" But I don't drive."
" But your boyfriend does." He spat the word boyfriend, like it was the worst thing in the world.
" This has nothing to do with Nate"
"actually it does"
"how"
" He drove off the bridge"
"that was an accident"
"No it wasn't, he did it on purpose"
"why?"
" No!"
" Ari..."
"DON'T, your lying"
"do you want me to show you?"
" Wha..."
" do you want me to show you?"
" How?"
" close your eyes, I am going to project the incident into your mind"
"okay"
I saw myself sitting in the passenger seat of Nate's car and me and Nate were arguing. I saw Nate start to speed up and drive right over the bridge.
The scene changed and i saw Blake dive from the bridge, sprout wings and plumage into the water. A minute later he broke the surface with me in his arms. The scene changed again and I was being loaded into the ambulance. The last scene was of me in a hospitable bed and the doctors telling my parents that I was in a coma but I was going to be Okay.
I looked at Blake " what are you?" I said in a strained voice.
He sudenley looked very nervous " well... you see... i'm an angel"
I took a step back " A what!"
" An angel" he took a cautious step forward
"so i'm dead?"
"No! Your not dead your just in a coma."
"What about Nate?"
Blake started to fidget " he... a... he wasn't hurt"
" how?"
"he swam out though the windshield"
"He left me to die" I whispered in a broken voice
"Yeah" he said looking very uncomfortable
i took a couple deep breaths "how do i get back"
" you have to want to" he said as he started to fade away
" Blake... BLAKE... Blake... BLAKE!" I screamed as he completely faded away. I started to cry " WHY, WHY DID YOU LEAVE, I WANT TO GO BACK. DO YOU HEAR ME BLAKE, I WANT TO GO BACK!" I screamed before everything went black
I woke up in a hospitable bed to see my mom and dad sitting in chairs sleeping. after my parents woke up and saw that I was awake they got the doctors to come and check on me, I was released a couple of days later and when anyone asked me how I got out of the car and lake I say " I was saved by an angel."
