Sammie

Ever since I was a baby, I have loved pictures. any kind- Pictures of dogs, cats, trees. Anything. I loved them because they could capture any moment and freeze it in time. Freeze a precious moment- a mother holding her child- that would never come the same way again. So, naturally, on my thirteenth birthday I was ecstatic about receiving my first digital camera. I took pictures of everything. My mother, standing at the kitchen sink washing dishes. My father, reading the local newspaper and drinking a cup of black coffee. I looked through the screen and took a picture of you, sleeping in your crib. I took a picture of mom eating dinner with dad. I took a picture of my room. I loved that camera.
