I never slept a wink last night after my conversation with Hale. I felt the bed move as Jax began to awake.
"Hey, did you sleep well last night." I faked a smile as I nodded my head.
"Yeah, what about you?" I questioned as Jax yawned.
"Yeah, I did." Jax said as he began to get out of bed and head for the showers. I stood up as I went to go get dressed before heading out to the bar to get some coffee.
"Good morning, Lassie. Have you seen Jax?" I nodded as I pointed towards the dorms.
"He just got in the shower." Chibs nodded.
"We got church in 10, will you be a doll and let'em know?" I nodded my head with a small smile.
"Of course." I said as I turned around to head back to the dorms to let Jax know. As I walked into the dorms I caught Jax in the process of coming out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around his waist. I felt my jaw drop as Jax smirked.
"Like what you see?" Jax said as I chuckled.
"Ehh, I've seen better." Jax pretended to be offend as he spoke.
"Well, excuse me while I go grab some tissues and Ben N' Jerry's and have a good cry." This time I laughed. "In all seriousness, is there something you needed?" Jax questioned as I nodded.
"Yeah, the guys wanted to let you know that they have church in ten." Jax nodded his head.
"Okay, thanks tell them I'll be out in a few." I smiled as I went to close the door before turning back to Jax.
"There better be some hot water left for me, Teller." I said as I pointed a threatening finger in his direction.
"Well, if I had of known you wanted to take a shower, you could have easily joined me." Jax said with his classic Teller smirk.
"In your dreams, Teller." I said with a giggle as I closed the door only for Jax to yell out.
"You're always in them." I smiled to myself.
"And you're always in mine." I whispered to myself before heading down the hall to inform Chibs of what Jax had told me.
"He said he'll be down in a few." I said as Chibs nodded is head. "Half, honey, can you grab me a cup of coffee?" I questioned as Half nodded his head and turned to get the mugs and boil some water. I sat at the bar as I awaited my cup of coffee as Jax strolled down the hall fully dressed.
"Hey, Darlin'" Jax said as he took the seat next to me.
"Hey, don't you have church?" I questioned as Jax hauled out a cigarette.
"Yeah, but I still got a few. What? Are you trying to get rid of me that quickly?" I smiled with a giggle as I spoke up.
"Maybe." I said with a smirk. Half handed me my coffee and Jax quickly snatched it before taking a sip. "Dick." I said as I took my coffee back from him.
"Church!" Clay yelled as Jax slide off the bar stool.
"I'll see you after." Jax said as he headed into the chapel. Once the doors closed, I turned back to my coffee before taking a sip.
"Why aren't you going with them?" I said as I sipped my coffee again.
"Uh... Clay and Jax wanted me to sit this one out." I frowned at Half's answer as he continued to wipe down the bar.
"How about this; I talk Jax into letting you in on more runs and meetings, if you promise to stand up for yourself more." Half turned to me confused and shocked.
