I'm so happy today. So I decided to treat my readers with another OS.

He watched her from the indoor balcony. She was moving around in such a rush as if hell hounds were hot on her heels. Adorned in one of her simple yet pretty sarees, her simple earrings dangling from her earlobes and her hair in an elegant bun, Swara looked beautiful. Absolutely beautiful, there was no debating that. But he couldn't bring himself to feel the tranquility of a man who had come home to safety. He couldn't summon the unbridled joy that he usually felt while watching his wife. That very woman, whom he had loved unconditionally and endlessly, had scarred his soul one too many times. Hurt him like no other.

Seven months back, when his bratty but lovely cousin had gone missing after their fight, Swara had accused him of heinous crimes. She had held him responsible for her dear sister's plight and abandoned him in the currents. How very noble of her.

The woman who was the epitome of goodness and had a keen sense of fair play had very unfairly blamed him for Laksh being MIA and left him to his own devices. Left him to battle his demons alone. For her dear sister.

Don't get him wrong. He loves Swara. Till the end of time. Like no other. With the intensity of a Neutron star and much more but he was no god. He was a human, who felt emotions. He felt happiness, sadness, hurt, love, loathe, and utter emptiness too.

He knows, he was no saint. He had been hurt and in self-defense attacked her back. And the moment those wretched words had left his lips, he knew he was doomed. Still, he couldn't take it back. For the first time he had let his head overrule his heart. Swara being Swara, followed her dear sister out of their home, out of his life.

And he was angry at Ragini. Just like Swara, why couldn't she place her sister's wellbeing above everything for once? Why couldn't she use the all-powerful and infamous 'kasam' into making Swara stay with him? Like every damn time, her own pain had mattered more than anything else to her.

But moreover, he was disappointed with Swara. After all this time, after all that had happened, after all things they had gone through, and after making that promise to him, how dare she leave him? Was their love a mirage? Was it a hallucination of a delusional man?

He had laid his entirety at her feet, his well-being and sanity at her palm and offered his heart on a silver platter. But what did she do? She had trampled over his heart and tore it into pieces... again.

He thought, after what they had gone through, after how they had fought the world to be together and after how she had pledged her love, she would prioritize him above all. Love him back like he did. Cherish him like he did her. But his wife had hurt him again and some more.

And hurt by her barbed words, he had lashed back, let her go and gave her a choice. And like always, she chose someone else over him. And walked away.

He had been hurt beyond words. He had drunk himself stupid, worked like an ox on the field, lashed out on every possible living being and sometimes non-living things too. He had battered his body with alcohol, abused his boxing equipment, overworked his employees. He had become a nightmare.

He had been at receiving end of another brutality when his worshipped Maa turned her back on him for her 'ladla, raaj dulara, ankhon ka tara, kaleje ka tukda' Laksh. He had to face yet another song. Unlike his eccentric and narrow minded mother, his badi maa was his Maa. He had worshipped the very ground she had walked on and she had favored her own sons shamelessly, while making hypocritical comments that all her sons were equal in her eyes.
