In the Snap Shots

They said, believe only on the things that you can see.

Appreciate the things you can feel.

I can't see you. Can't even feel you. You're there. You're near but you're so far away.

You're beside me but it feels like you're on the other side of the world.

And I'm so lost.

But at least I can hear your voice. Hear you when you call my name. Hear you when you're singing a song I'm not familiar with. Hear you when scoot closer to me to whisper in my ear. Sending chills all over my spine.

Your voice is the only thing that grounds me, holds me and keeps me sane.

And on the snap shots scattered across my floor, on the videos of random things on my phone, is where you'll be. Where we'll meet and gaze at each other's eyes.

I see you. Even when I can't see you.
