The person that I chose to celebrate is the significant Rosa Parks. She has made a difference in this world all over, she led the Montgomery bus boycott. Rosa Parks was born on February 4, 1913, her birth place is Tuckegee, AL. Sadly Ms.Rosa parks did October 24, 2005 in Detroit ,Michigan. The reason why I chose Rosa Parks was because she made a difference in my life. I would not be where I am right now if it wasn't for her.

What I mean by that is that I would not be able to sit where ever I want in the bus when I would ride it. I would have no choice but to sit in the back but because of her it is no longer like that. Not only that but it would be my honor to celebrate Rosa Parks I would like for everyone to think about what she has done for us not just for me but all around the world. She had no kids but she yes indeed had a brother named Sylvester. Mrs. Rosa parks finshed high school at the age of 20 in 1933. In 1932 she marrired Raymond Parker he was a barber at the time.

As well as Rosa Park's husband,  Raymond, died August 19, 1977 at the age of 74, after a five year battle.

When people think of Rosa Parks they think of a lady who just did not give up her seat. What people do not understand is that she did not only stick up for herself but for everyone african american as I listed up above she lead the bus boycott civil rights movement. There might be some people who do not understand what she fought for but when you really  do your research or when the topic is black history month you will get to know what she did for us the people of the world.  Rosa parks was charged for breaking a segregation law which was to pay 10$ but Rosa Parks refused to pay the fine.

After the bus boycott things weren't easy for Rosa, she recieved many threats and feared for life. Many of the civil rights leader's houses were bombed including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Rosa Parks continued to attend the civil rights meetings she became a symbol to many african americans of the fight for equal rights. She is as well as a symbol to many today. During that time segrgation was going on. That means things were different between blacks and white. They had different school, different churches, water fountains, stores, and elevators of course course such more.

Hoped You Enjoyed and I REALLY DO APPRICIATE HER!!!! What was a fact that you liked that I included in this passage?
