Jeremy instantly reacted, jumping to his feet and stalking to the window. He yanked open the curtain and peered outside, looking for an uninvited visitor. No one was looking in and he grunted, slamming them shut once more, "What in the living Hell was that?" He asked, walking slowly back to the group. He kept his eyes trained on the window so nothing popped out and scared him.

James' eyebrows rose, slightly as though he was surprised. "You mean you've never heard Thunder? Or seen Lightning?" He said, curiously, still sitting in an awkward posistion on his bed. "Thats weird."

Jeremy glowered at the boy, what would you know about me?  he wanted to ask, you're just a human! "No. I never had. Not in ever. What is Lightning and Thunder?" He spoke aloud and tried to dial down on his hate.

"Interesting." Marley scratched her chin, from under Skye's outstretched arms. Giggling, she went on, "Lightning is a sudden surge of power coming from the sky," She demonstrated by making her hands into something like Lightning, "Thunder is just the aftermath. People say it's just Giants in the Sky, flickering the lights to create Lightning and Banging on drums to create Thunder."

"That is not possible. There is no such thing as Giants. I am sure of it." Skye snapped, stepping away from Marley.

"Are you?" James asked, sarcasm dripping into his voice. Skye doesnt seem to notice and he went on, "Well, I'm sure with wings you can just fly above the clouds and see for yourselves!"

Jeremy shrugged, not getting what James was getting at. He pondered for a short moment and then looked at James, "Are you Jealous?"

"What?! Nonsense!"

Skye giggled, all anger draining away, "Actually, now that J mentions it, you have seemed to dislike our wings. Why are you so afraid of them? They cannot hurt a human being." She snickered and opened the door to the bedroom, "Although there has been an accident every few millennia with our special powers. I do not understand why,"

James gulped and Marley burst out laughing, uncontrollably, "HAHAHAHA!" She laughed, "Awesome joke! You got my Brother but I see through your lies."

Jeremy frowned, moving to the door as well, "You don't think it is true?"

Skye grabbed him by the collar, "It doesnt matter. We're going to bed. See you in the Morning, i suppose."

Time flew by and before Skye and Jeremy knew it, it was morning. Birds chirped but flew away at the slightest noise they heard. Skye watched eagerly for the sun to rise but she didnt see anything as wonderful as in the Faerie Realm. She grimaced at the pink lines that lined the horizen and sighed. "It isn't as beautiful as Fay Bay. I remember the beautiful Sun rising everyday. Waking up early everyday had a purpose. Now it's just to see Pollution  taking place in a world the inhabitors had ruined." She scoffed, and closed the curtains bitterly.

"In our defense, when we got here it was already ruined and unfortuneatly there isnt anything we could possibly have done to help a cause." a heavy Irish accent dissaproved from the corner of the room. Skye jumped and sighed again embarrased. It was James.

"I didnt expect you there." She said, hiding giggles under her sheer embarressment, "I meant to say that to a human. I suppose I didnt want you to hear that." She frowned, and turned back to  the window and put her head in her hands, trying to admire the view.

""snot your problem." He shrugged, puting his hands in his pockets. "You slept with Jeremy?"

Skye felt heat flood to her cheeks and she avoided looking at him, "NO! I kicked him into a different room so I could sleep. He snores," She felt obliged to add.

"Right..." James said, now looking down at the floor at his toes. "So. Is he still asleep?"

"I think so."

"Marley is too. We could talk," James offered. He was grimacing when Skye turned to look at him. Her wings fluttered.

"Are you assuming that I do that?" She asked, menacingly.

"NO!"

"Seems like it." She snapped and turned around, cutting off the outside world and giving in to her senses.
