limit to adoption tries." I rolled my eyes at her. "Well what are you talking about." She picked up my sister from the floor. "Ke'Ladriah even after the argument we had that day, I still wasn't going to give up because honestly I did come from a white family but my point is no matter where I came from I still try my hardest to be understanding. These past 3 months I honestly have gained a new client because I was so mad that day I actually took you off of my list and that's why you were sent here. After that I started to get worried because I know how you are, so I decided to put in a little effort in court. Yes I did a trial against your parents and all went well and I won. Ke'Ladriah the only reason you can't stay after today is because, well you, Trenton and Shamiya here are going to be living with me instead of just working with me. Get your things we're going home." I felt the tears of joy well up in my eyes as a sigh of relief escaped my mouth. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I found myself hugging her tightly while she laughed and hugged me back. "Hurry I have to make sure these people are done painting." I grabbed all my things in a hurry while she sat there and played with my sister's hair. When we got to her house she showed me around the two story home to my room, which was purple. I put all my things away and for the rest of the day I flipped through channels on the TV and we ate dinner as -- well you know. A family. This is the beginning of something wonderful. "Ke'Ladriah, come on sweetie get up. We have church this morning and we can't be late, get up and get dressed sweetie." I've been living with Ms. Crenshaw for a month and this whole church thing was something I still wasn't used to. I stretched lazily and checked the time on my phone. "It's 8:38, ten more minutes." I tried going back to sleep just so Ms. Crenshaw could shake me again. "Ke'Ladriah I'm not playing with you. I've been nice enough to not wake you up at 8:15 now get up before we're late. You still have to freshen up and eat breakfast now, don't make me get the bucket!" I instantly sprung from my bed and into my bathroom, I hated the bucket. After freshening up I went downstairs to be greeted by a pancake breakfast. After eating I finally got dressed. "Ke'Ladriah get off of that phone and hurry up! Is it really that important?!" I heard from downstairs. "Hold on my mom says I have to hurry Jerome... Yeah,I'll call you after church.. Bye." I hung up and put on my other flat running down the stairs. "There you are my sweet rosebud. Come on everybody let's go." Walking into the church music blasted through the speakers while the choir sung along and everyone clapped too. After about an hour and 10 minutes of church it was time for everyone to go drop something in the basket, then go and eat then everyone would go their separate ways.
