I have been driving for 3 days and ive almost made it to Big Sandy, im so excited to see the ranch ill be working at. Maybe ill get a new horse, or a dog, or cat.

   she soon arrived at what would be her new home. As she pulled in the long, long drive to her left and right she could see horses and cattle grazing for acres upon acres. "This will be an amazing fresh start." she thought to herself. She drove for about another quarter mile before coming to a fork in the road, a sign was in the middle, to the left was the barn, and office. To the right was the main houses and cabins. she took a left cause she needs to go fill out the paperwork to work there.

**Lilly**
  I finally got to the ranch and there was so much space and animals. I quickly got to a fork and took a left to the office, where i would fill out the paper work to work here. I pulled up in front of a massive barn, I jumped out of my truck slamming the door. I walked into the barn only to be greeted by huge horse heads sticking over the stall doors expecting me to pet them. im guessing they were all ranch horses bred for working. I made my way down the row till i got to the office door, i knocked a couple times and a small female voice responded "come in" i walked in and stood in front of the older lady who was swarmed by papers. "Hi my name is Lilly and i wanted to apply to work here i called 2 days ago."
"Ahh yes well here is the paper work and you will be assigned a ranch horse and rodeo horse, yes we take yall out to rodeos so unless you have your own we will give you one, based on how well you ride and what you will be doing." she handed me the papers and a stall number for my ranch horse. i would be getting my rodeo horse later.
  "Alrighty then i think thats all, ill have travis show you to your bunk and pair you with a rodeo horse."
"Ok thanks ma'am"
  i walked out of the office and slammed into a hard chest and fell straight on my ass.
"Hey watch where youre going next time"
"Im sorry im new here, your name is?"
"Oh Geez sorry ma'am im Travis, you must be Lilly the new worker."
"yup thatd be me, would you please show me where ill be staying so i can unload all my stuff."
"Yeah then ill take you to meet your horses!"
  Travis seemed like a nice guy but he gave off a cocky attitude. We walked out to my truck where i gave him my keys and he drove me to my 'bunk' but i was the only one staying there cause im the only girl and all the other cabins are full. After we got all my stuff unloaded and  put somewhere we drove back to the barn.
we slowly made our way down the long row to find my horses, after what felt like 5 million hours of looking at beautiful horses we stopped at a 16hh dapple grey Gelding his name plate read Cash and his registered name was they all bet cash and he has Dash ta Fame in his bloodlines!!!!
"Cash will be your rodeo horse, now he hasnt been started on anything but i can fix that." he ended smirking
"uh im pretty sure i can handle it!" i shoulda smacked that smirk right off!
"ok no need to get feisty sweet heart."
"dont call me sweet heart or you wont be able to ride or even pee!" i replied trying to keep my cool
"Alright Alright, lets go to your other horse then you can ride either one, tomorrow you will be starting by checking fences and then check in here for further instructions" he returned
"alright cowboy lets get to moving"
we walked about 3 stalls down and took a right to another set of stalls the 'ranch horse' area and stopped in front of a palomino paint. Her name plate was blank.. i wonder why?
she had papers and her papered name is sassafras southern sunrise, a weirdish name..
"so why doesnt she have a name?"
" we just got her a week ago and was waiting on the new hand to name her and that happens to be you..."
"ok ill call her lil lena cause she has doc o lena"
"ok ill tell the boss lady to order the name plate."
"alright if you dont mind taking me to the tack room and showing me where ill put my tack, not that i have much right now."
"Yeah, we have extra saddles and stuff you can use till you get your own."
i just nodded as we walked towards the entrance.
we soon made it there and he showed me all the tack i can use and where to out my tack and where feed was and all the horses certain feed regimens.
I grabbed a barrel saddle and my bridle i bought when i got here and walked to cash's stall, i took his halter of the hook and tacked him up after brushing him down. I then proceeded to take him to the round pen to lounge him before i ride. after about 15 minutes i took him out and over to the arena that already had barrels set up, once there i slipped his bridle on and warmed him up by trotting 15 minutes each way. i then set the barrels up completely wrong so he would learn body control and cues. i started by trotting wide circles around one barrel then made my way to another and did the same thing about 3 more times then i loped him about 6 times and he did so well, i decided to call it a day and put him up since he did so good. As i finished putting away my tack i mixed my horses feed and gave it to them, i also filled their water and mucked their stalls. tomorrow my day starts Bright and early.

Yall i hope you like this and i know it isnt very long but idk what to write rn, i will be posting updates slow because im going to try and write 5 chapters and post them every other day while i work on some more chapter so bare with me and let me know what you think!
