Nobody's POV

"I'll let you take me down there under one condition" Acacia says, a slight smirk appearing on her, otherwise, calm face
"And that condition is?" Robin replies, his facial expression now matching Acacia's
"You take me down on your grappling hook thing" she says, leaning back on the arm of her chair slightly
"You got yourself a deal" the Boy Wonder says as he stands up and holds out his hand to the girl in front of him.
Acacia types on the computer for a moment, then grabs a couple things off the computer, puts them in the messenger bag beside her, then puts the bag around her shoulder and takes Robin's hand.
"You may want to hold on," he says to her, "five stories is pretty high up"
"I think I can manage" she says holding onto Robin's shoulder, as he shoots out his line to the broken window in front of him.
The two run forward then jump out the window and go down the side of the building as the line extends for them. As they reach the ground Acacia jumps off of Robin, tucks and rolls, then stands up gracefully on the sidewalk.
"That was awesome!" She says, now smiling widely.
"Where'd you learn those moves?" Robin asks, speaking about her graceful tuck and roll
"You may not have gone that far into my history, but I've been a dancer since a very young age, so things like that aren't very hard for me" Acacia replies, then turns and looks at the Wayne Enterprise building
Robin nods slightly, then walks over to Acacia.
"Shall we?" He says
"After you, Boy Wonder" Acacia says, making Robin smirk slightly.
He begins to walk over to the Wayne Enterprise building, Acacia following behind.
It isn't long before Acacia finds herself face to face with the Caped Crusader himself. She can feel the color from her face fading.
Batman pulls Robin just out of earshot of the girl and begins to speak with him, Acacia tries to listen, but she can't hear anything.
That's it, I'm done for, she thinks, I may have been forced to do it, but I still did the crime.
Acacia's thoughts continue to go frantic as she feels her breaths slowly getting shorter and shorter.
I-I can't go to juvie, I wouldn't last a day in a place like that! She thinks as she feels the area around her start to spin and get slightly blurred.
She leans against the car that was behind her for support as she feels herself slowly slipping unconscious. Her head continuing to spin, with both thoughts and panic.
Soon, she blacks out and falls to the ground, Robin calling for a paramedic, which was not too far away, tending to people who were wounded in the battle between Benedict Gore and the Dark Knight.
By the time Acacia wakes, the dynamic duo is gone, and she is in a hospital bed.
She is greeted by the face of one other than billionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne. She cannot help but look away, ashamed of herself.
Neither of the two say a word to each other, but Acacia decides to try and break the silence, as best as she can.
"I... I'm so sorry... I did all I could to stop him Mr. Wayne... he forced me to... I'm so sorry..." she manages to get out, before she has to stop for a second, to calm herself, "please understand... I never wanted any of this... my dad was insane... he had driven himself mad... please..."
Acacia stops talking and practically forced herself to at least glance at the man sitting beside her bed. His face is practically unreadable, but his eyes look as if he's trying to work out a code.
"I understand," he says, his voice is deeper than Acacia remembers it being on the tv, "thank you, for your bravery and sacrifice"
Acacia looks at her hands, and then at Bruce after what he says sinks in.
"I-It was nothing, I have nothing to lose, so the sacrifice was r-really nothing," she says, "I mean, nothing compared to, w-well, you of course, Mr. Wayne, you're safety is more important than mine"
"You have the potential for greatness, Ms. Gore," Bruce says, "and if you're willing to accept it, then I will give you a full scholarship to Gotham City Academy"
Acacia's eyes widen slightly in shock.
"You're kidding," she says, "my dad just tried to kill you and you're giving me a scholarship to a prestigious school?"
"You saved my life," Bruce says, "the least I can do is give you a nice education"
Little did Acacia know, Bruce Wayne was planning something else. He wanted the young Dick Grayson to befriend Acacia, so that he could keep an eye on her, still worried that she may actually be a young villain, trained in treachery, and betrayal.
If it weren't for the previous events, she would probably have figured that out. Her observation skills and fast pace analytic brain currently working against her, as she was occupied with thoughts of her sister, the bat cave, and Robin.
"I guess you're right," Acacia says, "also, why am I in the hospital?"
"The paramedics said that you were in a state panic, and everything that had happened had caused you to pass out," he says, "you fell pretty hard, so I'll leave you to get some rest"
Bruce stands up and walks out of the room, and Acacia catches a small glimpse of a boy about her age, with raven hair, and the most beautiful blue eyes she's ever seen.
I'm going to Gotham Academy, she thinks, and just when I thought things couldn't get any stranger.
