"Kaelynn!!" My mother yelled my name from downstairs, I awoke shooting out of bed. I turned to look at my clock and groaned.
"Ten more minutes!!" I yelled down, when I didn't hear anything. I laid back down and started to close my eyes. But stomping on the stairs shook me awake. My door slammed open and my Father appeared in the door frame, crossing his arms and glared at me.
"Kaelynn it's time to get up. Get dressed and come downstairs to eat." My father spoke calmly and turned on his heel and went back downstairs.
I let out a sigh and hopped out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror, and jumped a bit. Damn do I really look that scary in the morning??
I shook my head and decided to take a quick shower before anything. After I was out of the shower, I wrapped myself in a towel and wiped the the mirror with my hand. I opened my medicine cabinet and pulled out my stick of deodorant and rolled them under my armpits. I brushed my teeth and hair. I decided to leave my hair down to completely dry. I applied some eyeliner and mascara. After I was satisfied with my over all look. I went back into my room and wiped my body down before I put a pair of my favorite ripped skinny jeans on and a white cami and my sky blue hoodie over it.
I ran down the stairs skipping one or two steps before reaching the kitchen. I smiled at my mother who has her back turned to me, as the sweet sound and sweet scent of bacon sizzling.
"Morning Mom." I smiled as I reached over her shoulder to give her a quick peck on the cheek, taking a piece of bacon of the plate before she could slap my hand away. Her sudden leap let me know that I caught her by surprise.
"Oh, Kae.... Don't do that! You almost gave me a heart attack." She smiled, then watched me munch on the piece of bacon, "And wait til breakfast is ready." She gazed at me. I smiled at her and leaned up against the wall close to her.
"Sorry" I giggled, placing my hand over my mouth. My mom turned around, as her bright smile filled the room. My father walked in carrying his newspaper and coffee mug. He sat at the table and took a sip, not looking up from his newspaper.
"Morning Dad" I kissed his cheek and sat down next to him, he looked at me and smiled but turned right back to his newspaper.
"Morning Sunshine." He smiled, not looking up at all. A lot of my friends use to say I had a good life, considering most of their family's were torn apart. My mom and dad are still in love and they are great but I wouldn't go around saying my home life was perfect.
"Oh, hunny. Would you please pack a your clothes. Remember you'll be living in a dorm and we are leaving for london. Since you haven't even bothered to pack." He gazed at me, with a hint of annoyance. Which I understood, I packed everything but my clothes and bathroom stuff. I shook my head and stood from seat and quickly ran up to my room. In twenty minutes I had everything done, and went back downstairs to find a plate of eggs, pancakes and bacon sitting and waiting for me.
"Yum" I smiled as I rubbed my hands together and slumping into the dining chair. My father glanced up and glared before he put his newspaper down, " Hunny, don't slump into a chair like that. " He huffed.
I sat up straighter in the chair and chowed down on my breakfast as my parents watched. My father shook his head at me and turned to my mother and began talking about their new life in london.
Once I finished, I stood and placed my plate in the sink. My mother stood up, and walked over to me, "Ok hunny, grab your suitcases and I'll meet you in the car and I'll take you to school." My mother spoke, reaching for her keys. I nodded and ran upstairs to get my stuff.
In the car, it was silent. I tried humming to myself but it got a bit annoying after a bit so I fell silent once more. I began to fidget and move because the silence is getting uncomfortable. Soon we rode up to a high school, Queient High School, but all I could see was guy. Seeing the horrid emotion on my face, my mother turned and placed a hand on my knee.
"Don't worry, the other girls must be on the other side of the fence or inside." Her carefree smile, let a smile tug at my lips. I nodded and sighed taking my back pack and getting out of the car.
I waved her goodbye then head towards the school, all fell silent as they watched me approach the school. Some began to hoot and whistle at me, then two guys walked up to me. Both of them very attractive.
" Hey, you must be the new girl" One spoke glancing at me up and down, then turned to the other with a raised eyebrow. The other stood glancing me, then shrugged his shoulders looking disinterested.
"They could have done better." He spoke harshly, then walked off. I turned to stick up for myself but he was already to far away, so instead I stared at the other one. Who stood quietly smiling at me.
"Don't mind him. He's an ass. What's your name?" The boy smiled, shrugging his shoulders at the one that left. What the hell does he mean they could have done better? Whatever I shouldn't get to worked up about it, like this boy said he's just an ass.
"Kaelynn" I stuck my hand out for him to shake, which he smiled as he took my hand.
