Cameron's POV
"Oh shut the hell up!" I spoke, laughing as one of my friends told me a story.
"I'm not even joking! It was insane dude. Too bad you were hanging out with your little girlfriend." My friend Rich replied, rolling his eyes. I sighed, knowing Rich had something against my girlfriend.
"What's you're deal with her?" I asked, looking him in the eye.
Rich did that obnoxious laugh. Y'know, the laugh you do when you think someone just said something stupid.
"She's a total whore dude. She isn't worth your ti-"
He didn't get to finish his sentence, because some random chick bumped into him. Even though I only caught a glimpse of her, she looked scared to death. She had dark brown hair that was down to about her waist. Her eyes were a light green color. Yea, she was attractive. I was continuing to admire her beau- I mean, look at her, when Rich's voice rudely snapped me out of reality.
"What the hell? Jesus Christ, dumbass." He spoke, glaring at the mysterious girl. That's when the bell rung, and we went our separate ways to class. I walked into my Biology class and sat down, noticing the mysterious girl walk in soon after I did. Our teacher, Mr. Sanders, said we were going to do another damn project. The girl was seated just a couple seats ahead of me. I was again staring at her, until I heard my name.
"Cameron? I suggest that instead of zoning out, that you should pay attention."
I heard a few snickers and my face turned red. The mysterious girl turned around and looked at me, but she wasn't laughing.
"As I was saying, Cameron and Skylynn will be paired together. Then Rich and Brenda. Jake and Danny. Jessica and-"
I kinda just blocked his voice out, and looked around, not knowing of a Skylynn. Then, the mysterious girl came up to me. She was blushing, but she finally made out some words.
"So, um. F-For the project. Do you want to come to my house for it?"
