Stormtail POV

I was told to keep watch over night. I smell the faint scent of rain, the sound of thunder rumbled loud in the distance. "I don't like that new cat stormtail. I have this uneasy feeling about him. And did you see him staring at Lillyfeather? Somebody needs to put him in his place." some tom said in the night. I just ignored them because they had no idea who they were messing with. Tangleburr walked out of the warriors den to me. "Your vigil is over.Get some food and have some rest." I trudged to the warriors den and laid down in a warm nest. Sleep came over me in a swift movement.I dreamed a dreamless sleep.

   I felt a prod in my side. I jump up and see a beautiful silver face. "Its time you went on your fist patrol. Reedstar is waiting for you." Lillyfeather turned and walked out of the den. I followed her out into the camp. I felt the stares of many cats. I meet Reedstar in front of his den. "Lillyfeather said I had to go on patrol." I told him. "Ah yes. I am sure you already know the territory, so we will go on a border patrol. We are going to the border between us and Rushclan." he informed me but I wasn't really listening. I was staring behind him at lillyfeather. Her pelt shining in the sun. I didn't notice the question Reedstar asked me. "Stormtail! Pay attention!"  He turned around to see me staring at Lillyfeather."Don't get any ideas  of becoming my daughter's mate." Reedstar was glaring at me now. "Lillyfeather is your d-daughter?" I stamered.
"Yes and you will stay away from her or else."
