Drunk

Stiles

------------------

I sighed walking through the crowd of people. God I hate this. I walked away to go to the bathroom- I walk away for 3 minutes, and I already lost her.

And she's not very good at parties... She'll literally drink anything especially because they cut her off from her anxiety medication and I wouldn't let her take my adderall.

When she's with me, she's normally fine and doesn't need any medication, ever since we became a couple she hasn't needed to take it, but sometimes... She gets flashbacks from what happened. With Peter on the field, with Jennifer, and with everything else that's happened.

But the most frequent is Peter. She used to have night terrors some times and would scream nothing but "No! Don't let them take me!" Or "No! No I didn't do that! I never meant to do that!" And I would have to hold her and comfort her until she eventually cried herself back to sleep.

I looked around worried before nervously running a hand through my hair. "Lydia!" I said as I made my way through more crowds of people. When I finally found her, she was giggling, sitting on some guys lap.

I tightened my jaw trying to make my way through crowds of people and get to her as fast as I can. I walk over to them and look at Lydia. "C'mon Lydia. Lets go." I say going to grab her hand.

The bulky guy gives me a glare. "Excuse me? I'm pretty sure I saw her first." He says with a cocky glare.

I roll my eyes and look at him. "Actually I'm pretty sure I saw her first. We've known each other since we were two. Oh and yeah- she's my girlfriend." I say rolling my eyes.

"C'mon Lydia. You've had enough fun for one night. Lets go home." I say. She hiccups and looks at me before the guy stands up moving her off of his lap and sitting her down on the chair that he was sitting on before looking at me, balling up his fists.

"She doesn't want to go." He says tightening his jaw. I roll my eyes. "She doesn't know what she wants. She's wasted out of her mind, and I've only been gone for 3 minutes which means you gave her a lot to drink." I say shaking my head.

"Actually you should go somewhere else. Because I was just about to bring her up stairs... Have some fun with her." He says.

I tighten my jaw looking at him. "Go mess with some other girl. This one isn't interested." I say. He tightens his jaw and starts to charge towards me, but I duck out of the way and elbow him in the back of his head before looking over at him.

When he looks at me with a confused facial expression I hold out my hand to Lydia. "C'mon. Lets go home." I say. She hiccups, standing up and grabbing my hand.

I wrap my arm around her and glare over at the guy. He rolls his eyes and hands Lydia a paper. "That's my number babe. Call me if you wanna do what we were gonna do upstairs." He says.

She looks at the paper confused and I put my hand out. "Can I have that Lyds?" I ask politely. She nods, not knowing because of how wasted she is, and hands me the paper.

"Stay right here." I say looking at her and letting go of her hand. She nods. I walk over to the guy as he has his back turned talking to his friends. I look down at the paper and see his name printed on the paper.

Matt. Huh. Ironic.

I tap on his shoulder. "Matt?" I say. He turns around. "Listen punk, I don't have time for your-" I shut him up by punching him in the nose hard. He looks at me confused as he falls to the ground holding his nose in pain.
