Yurio POV
It was the day. The big day. Viktor and Yuuri were finally getting married. Enough of them just being the plain awkward idiots they are, now they're married awkward idiots. Yuuri was wearing a black suit with a baby blue tie, the one that annoys the hell out of Viktor, who was wearing a cream suit with a silky grey tie. They both looked pretty good. Wait, what am I saying? I hate those idiots! Although they did ask me to give a speech, and they both wanted me to be the best man... But they're making me wear cat ears, which I find incredibly stupid and pointless and I'm sure they're just doing to make a fool out of me, hence the evil grin Viktor had when he gave the to me. I couldn't say no to the cat ears, I knew. Yuuri would start to stress about who knows what and Viktor would give me the sad puppy eyes... So I just had to do it. "Yurio do you want to do your speech now?"Yuuri asked suddenly. I snapped to attention. "Eh, sure whatever." I mumbled.
TIMESKIP
It was later at night, and everyone (except me of course) had had a few drinks, and people wanted Yuuri to talk about how he and Viktor first met. Yuuri climbed the steps to the small stage in the centre of the room. "How Viktor and I met, huh? You want to know?" People cheered "I guess that's a yes ha ha. Well, it was after I skated to his routine and the triplets uploaded it to the Internet. I came home one day a was tackled by a dog that looked like Vicchan. Then I remembered that Vicchan wasn't... 'There' anymore. I looked around for a possible owner. Then my dad said, "Hey that dog belongs to the good looking foreign man who's in the hot springs right now.' So obviously I took of running to the hot springs. That's my story." Yuuri said. He was blushing. I looked over at Viktor, and he was red as a tomato. As the night progressed, people had more drinks and then we danced. I admit I had fun.
TWO WEEKS LATER
Yuuri POV
It's been two weeks since the wedding and I still have butterflies. Viktor and I bought a house in Hausetsu. We built Makkachin a cute dog house is the yard. The cherry blossoms were blooming. Everything was perfect. I was baking cookies, and Viktor was napping upstairs. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "I wasn't expecting anyone... Maybe Viktor forgot he invited someone over.." I mumbled to myslef as I walking towards the door. More knocking, this time more frantic than before. I opened the door, and standing there was Yurio, his eyes red and puffy, tears flowing down his face. He collapsed into my chest, and started sobbing and shaking. "O-oh my goodness. What- who- how...?" I stuttered. Yurio wrapped his arms around me and continued crying into my shirt. I picked him up bridal style and we sat on the couch. He wrapped his arms around my neck and cried into my shoulder. Viktor came down the stairs. "What's going on...?" He started then he saw Yurio shaking and crying on my lap "Yurio! What's wrong?" He rushed over an sat beside me. Yurio sobbed and wimpered. "Yurio," I said calmly. "We can't help you unless you tell us what's wrong" he took a shaky breath.
"My grandpa.... He... He died. No social services are going to take me back to Russia.... They've been chasing me... They'll probably be here soon, to take me... I won't be near a rink, and Yakov refuses to take care of me." Yurio gave in to the tears again. Viktor wrapped his arms around both of us. We sat like that for a while, until Yurio had calmed down.
There was a bang on the door. "Social Services, open up!"
