He went from girl to girl always
looking for the right person. Maybe
she would come along. He would
alwaus ask my approval for who he
was dating. "What about this one, she
likes playing dress up just like you
and she does not have any kids," he
said one day. I smiled, he knew i
loved dress up. I agreed to his option
and he said one day soon i would
meet her. Days passed and he rushed
through the doors of my
grandmothers house. Come here Zoey
i have someone who wants to meet
you. I had hope that it was the girl he
described and i walked up to a black
car and saw her. "Hey, you must be
Zoey. I am Tiffany," She said. I looked
at her.. It did not look like the girl he
described. "Do you like dress up?" I
asked. She laughed and said no.. I
turned away. I felt guilt as i did
knowing that my dad was just
looking for someone to help raise us.
I turned to face her again. "Do you
have kids?" I asked. "I have a son
named Nathan," she said. I could not
deal with having another brother. I
hardly ever saw my real brother and
bonus boys were beyond annoying to
me then. She looked at me, Lindsey,
then my dad and said, " you know
your dad just got paid today." I told
her we did know. "You should tell
him to give you money" we laughed
and told him to give us money. He
refused and when we turned back to
Tiffany she had handfuls of change to
give to us. "Woah," me and lindsey
both said at the same time. We used
to think that just a quarter was worth
a lot. When she left that night I felt
like she was the one my dad should
go after. I told him what i thought
and he agreed. Of course then we had
just met her. First impressions are
everything as everyone says.

Not Your Typical Fairytale
General FictionFairytales always end with happy endings and a kinda weird beginning, but this fairytale is reality and Zoey lives it. And trust me it is not even close to a typical fairytale
