In the kingdom of Animatronica, lived two princes and a king. The princes were heros, and their story would be told for generations to come, but they were only one gear in the machine. In the small town of Septic, right in between the Sam River and the Steve meadow, lived Lord Jack. Jack was a kind lord, he loved his people and always put them before himself. He even dressed in normal clothing, just so that his villagers didn't feel as though he was superior to them in any way.
Even though he lived a wonderful life, Jack felt a constant yearning for something more. What it was, he was unsure of. Until finally, he met Lady Aphmau of Disney. Granted, they met at her husband's funeral. Aphmau had been a widow with two children, she had been mourning her husband, she would have left Animatronica forever... but she had met Jack. Jack had been her light.
Aphmau was a stunning young woman with long, flowing, raven colored hair. Her dark brown eyes had a certain shine to them, even when hidden behind her spectacles. As a loving wife, leader, and mother she ended up governing the village alongside Lord Jack.
Of course, they were also the ones King Mark always went to when he felt overwhelmed and vise versa. It was a brilliant spring morning when Lolbit Trollers, the king's personal assistant, came to announce that Mark was calling an emergency meeting. As per usual, Lolbit stayed behind to watch the children while the lord and his lady responded to the call. It was late by the time they arrived.
They were in the throne room, a circular table took up the middle. To name a few, there sat Duke Mando of Pony, Lady Morgan, Prince Nathan, Prince Matthew, General Freddy Fazbear, Undergroundian Commander Undyne the Undying, and King Mark. Jack and Jess, Aphmau's first name, sat in between Lord Wade and Officer T. B. Tim.
"Now that we're all here..." King Mark began, "It's time I inform you about our dire situation. Disney... that mouse has declared war."
"A mouse?" Lord Wade snickered, "I'm so scared."
"This mouse is five foot tall and has an army at his command, Wade. This is not a laughing matter." Mark addressed his friend with a serious face that he had mastered during his time as king. That, and raising two children on your own is bound to give you skills in authority. Wade seemed to pale and Jess couldn't help but giggle at his ignorance.
"Aphy," Jack addressed his wife in his adorable accent from years of living in his village, "Don't you have family in Disney?"
"Yes, in fact I'm still an aristocrat in the land, " she looked upset for a moment as she replied, "I didn't know King Disney would pass his kingdom to such an obvious tyrant."
"That's it!" Prince Matthew Patrick Iplier suddenly exclaimed as he stood up, "I have a plan!" His audience blinked in shock at him. Aphmau saw Jack squirm uncomfortably and comfortingly placed a hand in his.
"Elaborate, would you?" Nate snapped, his fingers drumming impatiently on the wooden surface. Jack shot a sympathetic look at King Mark. Mark often brought up the fact he wished Nate wasn't so accustomed to war and death.
"Well, legend says that Disney's all knowing being, the Genie, has always kept order in the land. He always knew when to intervene and when to stay put. The problem is... he's been missing for over a thousand years." MatPat paused due to the snickering of Lord Wade and Lord Bob.
"Umm... Prince Matthew, I hate to inform you, " Duke Mando began awkwardly, "but that's just a legend. A story you're supposed to tell your children at night."
"I've met the Marionette and Flowey the Destroyer, therefore the genie isn't too far fetched." He paused before saying, "I value your input either way." Jack was showing signs of increasing discomfort.
"Are you alright?" Aphmau whispered, "you're being a bit jumpy." Jack quickly forced a smile.
"Fine, I'm fine." He lied. He didn't like where this was going. Surely Matthew wouldn't be dumb enough to... nah.
"Anyway," the prince continued, " if we want to prevent this war... the genie is our best bet. That's why we need somebody who has high status in the eyes of the mouse. In conclusion..." He paused and locked eyes with Lady Jess, "Lady Aphmau, please find the genie."
"Nope!" Jack blurted out, " that is a large order of Nope soup straight from the best cooks of screwthatistan and not-in-a-thousand-yearsopilis."
"I'll do it." Aphmau stated as her husband finally finished. Jack looked as if she had slapped him across the face.
"Aphy...? Are 'ya mad!?" His voice resonated with shocked disbelief.
"I will do anything to protect my new home." She answered simply, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze and small smile.
"We don't even know where the genie is, if he even exists!" He argued his point, "I can't just let 'ya go off on a mission like that!"
"Jack, calm down. Let MatPat explain further." Mark interrupted the couple. Jack was now holding Aphmau's hand to the point it probably cut off the circulation in her fingers, but she didn't complain.
"I'm also aware of... certain customs." The prince continued somewhat awkwardly, "because of this, you can't use the excuse of visiting family in order to cross the border. You need an excuse that checks out then and there." He glanced at Prince Nathan warily, "As I'm sure you all know, there is an animatronic imprisoned the castle dungeons, we have discussed trading her over to Disney before so it wouldn't be too big of a stretch to make up our minds on handing her over now. She is the one who lead the travelling circus as a cover up for their crimes, particularly murder."
Upon hearing this suggestion, it was clear by the look on his face that this was not okay with Jack. Jack finally let go of his lovely bride's hand just to slam his on the table as he stood up.
"What?!" He exclaimed, " My wife is definitely not traveling with a murderer!"
"Jack, sit down!" Aphmau ordered. The sharpness of her voice brought Jack back to his senses.
"I'm sorry, it's just I don't want you to..." He finished his sentence with a guilty glance at Mark. Aphmau couldn't help but soften at this. He just didn't want to go through what he had seen Mark deal with. He sat back down, lacing with fingers with his wife's.
"If you hadn't caught on, " Matthew went on as if nothing happened, "I'm talking about Baby." Jack stiffened. "But, a Disney Rebel has come forth and begged for help. An electric mouse. Baby can be controlled by electricity."
"What is it with the mice these days?" Lord Wade guffawed at his joke. He was met with a tense silence.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Jess inquired, "Let's do this!"
