CHAPTER 5

Harry's POV:

"Ready for our last concerts of the tour boys?" Peter said as he walked into the hotel room the boys had finally gathered in after arriving in Sydney. "Ok so these shows are spaced out. You'll have a lot of time to see Sydney, so don't get into too much trouble roaming around; can't count on you though Harry right?" he winked at Harry, "and don't forget the interviews we'll have while you're here," he clapped his hands together then walked out of the room leaving Harry and the guys to decide how they would fill up their finally free time. The boys were spread out around various places of the expensive room. "So what do you guys want to do?"Niall asked from his place leaning against the balcony door. "I'm off to paint," Zayn said clicking off his phone and walking out the door to who knows where.

"None of you lads are the least bit tired?" Harry asked lifting his head off the gold flecked white colored couch. Not really wanting to engage in acting any longer he planned to stay in and lazy around after their long journey around the world. "Nope, we aren't old men like you Harry," Liam joked.

"Yet who's the one who picks up the most girls?" Harry countered raising an eye brow and walking off towards the bedroom. "Cause they don't really know you!" Liam yelled before he closed the door to the room. He collapsed onto the bed and contemplated the sentence. He was undoubtedly right. Every woman that has ever put up with him was because he was apparently dark and mysterious. They were proving management right and he hated it. Disappointing them meant jeopardizing the group and that was the last thing on his mind. He would just have to frustratingly put up with it.

Ivy's POV:

"How was the concert?" Ivy asked Tina the moment she spotted her at school on Monday.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" she blurted waving her hands hysterically, "What's the point of a phone if you don't answer it!? The concert was amazing. I needed you that night so that I could let out my total discomfort with leaving the boys. Gosh it was so alive, everyone was screaming. You would've enjoyed it you know loosened up a little." She poked Ivy in the shoulder with a wink of her eye.

"Sorry, no phones while studying remember? We have a huge chem. Exam today have you forgotten? Even though my mother cares less about chemistry than she does about bio she's still uptight about putting full effort into everything," Ivy explained not noticing that Tina had stopped short in the middle of the hallway they were walking in, her eyes wide. "Oh no! The chem. Exam! I forgot, I'm going to totally fail," she exclaimed walking up to Ivy. She didn't understand why Tina cared about achieving really high results at school. Her parents provided her with everything she'd wanted and she usually did the best of her ability on a test without trying hard. She'd never failed and that was all that mattered until year 10. They started to study together and Tina would push herself in Exams wanting to achieve maximum marks. Her parents were so thrilled yet she didn't ask or receive anything fancy. Ivy never asked her why she suddenly started to take interest in education because she guessed it was part of being only 3 years away from graduating and wanting to do something with your life. Not depending on your parents' filled pockets forever. But now she had to ask. Ivy didn't understand why Tina cared so much about failing this exam. Her parents wouldn't take a second look at the grade and would cheer her up saying she'd done her best. "Why do you suddenly care Tina?" Ivy asked her as they arrived at their lockers.

"Oh I don't know, maybe because it's an exam and we are in our senior year," she stated sarcastically. Her sarcastic tone indicated she wasn't being truthful, but Ivy decided to drop it for now. She worked out that Tina's sarcasm meant she was telling half the truth- she would say it sarcastically to make it sound like it was obvious that that was the answer- when she would tell the girls at the lunch table what she wanted them to know but would repeat the story to Ivy later in full. They would believe her and Ivy might have too if she hadn't become a perfect reader of peoples personalities. Being a ghost to most had its perks. She was obviously really freaked out about the exam and Ivy needed to help her. "Ok well the test isn't until after lunch so we'll study then, you'll be fine," she said walking off to homeroom. Tina smiled and walked the other way. Unfortunately their horrible luck meant they were placed in different homerooms throughout high school and the only classes they'd had together was art- which they both dropped after they realized their close to zero potential-, chemistry and English. But it was probably for the better, because Ivy didn't need any distractions or attention in any of her classes.
