Chapter 3 - A Delicious Dish

After  the first training mission of Ryan, Gar, his master, let him to live to his old house. Ryan gratefully accepted. Now his second day of training begins.

The next day...

"Ryan! Are you awake now?" Gar shouted outside Ryan's house.

"Yeah I'm awake! I'll be there in a second!" Ryan shouted to Gar.

After a while...

"Oh there you are, are you ready?" Gar said.

"Bring it on." Ryan said excitedly.

They go to the Forest and Hills to do Ryan's second training mission...

"So, what's my next training mission?" Ryan said.

"First, you need to get 2 Raw Meats." Gar said.

"What? Again?" Ryan said.

"No no. This will be different. Instead of delivering it raw, you're going to deliver it cooked." Gar said.

"Huh? But I don't  know how to cook a meat without something to cook on." Ryan said.

"Don't worry, I'm going to provide you a Portable Spit." Gar said.

"Portable Spit? What is that?" Ryan said.

"You use it to cook meat. Another thing, Portable Spit is owned by the guild. That means, if you finish a quest, the guild will take it from you. It's for  beginners though. But there's also a Barbeque Spit, or BBQ Spit for short. It's like a Portable Spit, but it can only be bought at the Item Shop in our town. So that means  you can bring it wherever and whenever you want." Gar said.

"Okay, I understand. Let me get the things from the Supply Box first." Ryan said.

Ryan get the supplies from the Supply Box...

"Then... I will go and slay an Aptonoth again?" Ryan said.

"Yes, then you're going to cook their meat with that Portable Spit." Gar said.

"Got it." Ryan said.

Ryan goes to the fields to slay some Aptonoth. After he sees one, he quickly slash it. Then stab it. After he slayed the Aptonoth, he carves it's meats.

"Alright, time to cook!" Ryan said happily.

Ryan takes out the Portable Spit then puts it to the ground.

"Okay, gotta make this right." Ryan said.

Ryan started to cook the meats. Luckily, he turned it out into a perfect  steak! After he cooked the meat, he quickly returns to the base camp.

"Oh hey, that's a Well-Done Steak you've got there." Gar said.

"Thanks." Ryan said.

"You know, that steak will be my lunch." Gar said.

"Really? Well, this steak will be the best steak that you've ever taste!" Ryan said.

"Haha, don't prove me wrong. Now, put it into the Delivery Box." Gar said.

"Huh? But you're the one who's going to eat it. What's the purpose of putting it into the Delivery Box?" Ryan said.

"It's a rule." Gar said.

"Oh, okay." Ryan said.

Ryan puts the cooked meats into the Delivery Box...

After the training mission, they went back to Ronayo Village.

"Goodbye Ryan, see you again tomorrow." Gar said to Ryan.

"Yeah, well, see you again!" Ryan said.

While Ryan is walking to his house, he suddenly bumped a girl.

"Ow!" Ryan said.

Ryan and the girl falls down...

"Arghh.. What did-" Ryan said.

"Oh, sorry! Please forgive me! I didn't saw you." the girl said.

"No, it's okay." Ryan said.

"Thank you. But I've got to go now!" the girl said.

Then the girl runs again...

"I wonder who's that girl. She might be onto something. Huh?" Ryan said.

Ryan found a necklace on the ground.

"This must be from that girl, I'd better return it." Ryan said.

Ryan picks up the necklace...
