A Happily Ever After? (Chapter 01)

Nephilim thank you so much for the support in my previous fanfiction! This is a new fanfiction, my first that I completely came up with! Hope you like it!

It had to be at least ten minutes, I lay there with my head on Jace's chest, I feel his strong muscles through the soft material of his shirt. I saw Alec, Magnus, Izzy and Simion leave a few minutes ago, probably to go back to the party.

"Jace." I say softly

I feel Jace move slightly, and I get up and lean on my elbows, looking down at him. He is so beautiful, my beautiful angel.

"What is it, Clary?" Jace ask me

I look at him as he gets up and sits beside me. "We probably should be getting back," I say

"Alright," Jace says

Jace gets up and reaches his hand down to me, I take his hand and he helps me up. I lace my finger in his and we walk down back to the party.

As we get ten feet near the white tent or as my mother, Jacelyn Garroways says 'the Blue Tent' I hear my name in a distance.

I look back nd stop and my steps falter.

"Clary." Jace says, he turns me around and pulls me into his arms. "Clary are you okay?"Jace asks me again.

I look up at him and nod one, "Yeah. I'm fine. You go ahead." I say

He looks back and me and presses his lips to mine gently, then smiles at me before he walks towards the blue tent.

I walk back on the path I heard my name called from. "Clary?" I hear again I look back at the pathway and I see a ravner demon there, with its teeth bared.

I pull a blade out from the sheath in my boots,  had just for cases like this. 

I pull it out and it glows with a gold aura, the demon comes lashing at me and I stab it in the chest, but to my surprise, it does not vanish.

"What," I say

I run back from the demon about ten feet back.  But I fall as the demon's teeth collide with my arm.

I fall on the ground and the demon goes over me, locking in for the kill. I put all my energy to stay conscious. As the demon bears it teeth reaching for me a seraph blade goes through the demon's chest, it vanishes.

Jace, a familiar sword in his hand looks down at me for a fraction of a second before running down to me, looking at me with a worried glance.

"Clary." Jace said, but his voice muffled.

I was fighting consciousness. I felt the burn of a stele on my arm, and the pain stopped for only a moment then it came back twice as much.

"Guys I know you are in-" Isabelle starts but then her voice cuts off

I heard the slight taping, probably Izzy's heel making sound on the ground.

"Cary!" Jace yelled

I looked up at him and I could see that he was frantic. "Clary! No. Don't close your eyes. Stay with me." Jace said

That was the last thing I heard before my eyes closed in eternal darkness.
